Maximum time periods are as follows: Technician helper 1 year Technician II 1-1/2 years Technician I 1-1/2 years 3. Where accelerated training procedures are available and laboratory conditions permit, and where the employee is willing and able to accelerate their training, such procedures will be utilized.

Schedule of Training. 1. Upon being accepted as an apprentice in a specific trade, an employee shall work at the trade and spend as much time at a vocational school as prescribed by the BC Apprenticeship Board. 2. On-the-Job training: The Joint Apprenticeship Committee will establish written training guidelines for each year of apprenticeship (for each trade). These are included in Appendix C. 3. The Training Specialist (or his/her designated appointee) will monitor and administer (in conjunction with the Maintenance Team Leader) the assignments of training activities. 4. The Training Specialist (or his/her designated appointee) will be the liaison with the Apprenticeship Board on all matters of training and scheduling. 5. Upon completion of each session of school training at an approved vocational school, an employee will be required to pass the examinations set by the school and the Apprenticeship Board. 6. In the event of failure to pass examinations, the employee shall be required to undergo a period of retraining on the subject material specified by the Apprenticeship Board and will be required to be re-examined within twelve months. The employee will pay his/her own expenses for repeating any school training and will be reimbursed the per diem allowances after successfully completing the “repeat” year. 7. Failure to pass a second training and schooling period will result in removal from the program. 8. Employees who are removed or who remove themselves from the program will have the opportunity to bid on any job opening that exists at this time. However, if a vacancy does not exist the employee may be terminated.
Schedule of Training. (1) New Employees. Newly hired individuals and new volunteers are required to attend General Hospital Orientation. Training for Accommodating the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has been included in the curriculum of General Hospital Orientation. Documentation of New Hire General Orientation will be recorded in the individual’s Human Resources file. Newly affiliated physicians will be trained through their respective employer. YRMC will include language in future contracts to reflect this required training. (2) Initial Training for Current Employees. Current employees are required to complete annual training and education inclusive of various significant training subjects. Training for Accommodation of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing will be included in Annual Training. Documentation of the Initial Training for current employees is recorded in the individual’s educational database. During the next twelve (12) months, May 1, 2011 – April 30, 2012, specific and separate record monitoring will occur to allow monitoring of initial training for these employees. Initial training for current employees has already begun.

In the event of failure to pass examinations, the employee shall be required to undergo a period of retraining on the subject material specified by Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission or Manitoba Advanced Education and Training authorities and will be required to be reexamined within twelve months. 3. Failure to pass a second examination will result in review of their position and could result in their removal from the program. 4. Employees who are removed from the program may be terminated or may revert to a Loader or Operator position, if a vacancy exists.

Apprenticeship and Industrial Training Branch. 2. Upon completion of each period of training in an approved vocational school, the apprentice will be required to pass examinations set by the B.C. Apprenticeship and Industrial Training Branch. 3. In the event of failure to pass examinations, the apprentice shall be required to undergo a period of retraining on subject material specified by the Apprenticeship Branch authorities and will be re-examined within twelve months. Such cases will be discussed with the Union and the Company shall provide counseling to the apprentices as to assistance available to help them to complete the program. 4. Failure to pass a second examination will result in a review of the employee's position and could result in removal from the program. Employees who are removed from the program will retain their employment with the Company, but their placement shall depend on the availability of jobs, with vacancies being filled as per Article 11

  • Schedule of Services Consultant shall perform the Services in a prompt and timely manner in accordance with the Schedule of Services set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Consultant represents that it has the professional and technical personnel required to perform the Services expeditiously.   • SCHEDULE OF WORK FIRST PARTY’S proposed schedule for the various services required will be set forth in Exhibit A-1. In addition to services described in Section A1, the parties may from time to time agree in writing that FIRST PARTY, for additional compensation, shall perform additional services including but not limited to: • Change in the services because of changes in scope of the work. • Additional tasks not specified herein as required by the CITY. The CITY and FIRST PARTY shall agree in writing to any changes in compensation and/or changes in FIRST PARTY’s services before the commencement of any work. If FIRST PARTY deems work he/she has been directed to perform is beyond the scope of this agreement and constitutes extra work, FIRST PARTY shall immediately inform the CITY in writing of the fact. The CITY shall make a determination as to whether such work is in fact beyond the scope of this agreement and constitutes extra work. In the event that the CITY determines that such work does constitute extra work, it shall provide compensation to the FIRST PARTY in accordance with an agreed cost that is fair and equitable. This cost will be mutually agreed upon by the CITY and FIRST PARTY. A supplemental agreement providing for such compensation for extra work shall be negotiated between the CITY and the FIRST PARTY.
