Schedule Placement. Employees shall be placed on the salary schedule, Appendix III, for education and experience in accordance with the same guidelines governing the placement of employees on the provisions below. All education credits must be on file in the superintendent’s office by October 1st in order to receive credit on the salary schedule for any school year or the employee will attest in writing, by October 1st, that the course work has been completed and that official verification will be received by November 1st. Salary schedule placement shall apply to all employees on the basis of verified experience and education. The employee may be called upon to assist in the verification of experience. Schedule Placement. Upon initial employment, a maximum of four (4) years of related experience on the salary schedule may be credited to a new employee (up to Step E). The determination of placement on the salary schedule shall be at the sole discretion of the District.

Placement or advancement on the salary schedule shall be made on the basis of documentation of credits with a "C" or better grade or degree, and shall be effective on the first day of the first semester or the first day of the second semester. Nurses with B.A. or B.S. will be placed on Lane 1.

Schedule Placement. A. Newly employed MBUs shall be placed on the appropriate salary at a step that reflects their previous experience. Acceptable experience is limited to that gained within the last ten (10) years. Experience prior to earning a Bachelor’s Degree and certification shall not be credited to an employee for salary purposes.

Schedule Placement ai) Placement in a salary category shall be as most recently determined by the Teacher Qualification Service: The effective date of such change shall be the first the month in which the teacher notifies the Treasurer of the Board, in writing. that has completed the requirements for the category change. The actual change in category will occur upon verification by the Teacher Qualification service. Experience as determined below shall govern placement of all teachers in their salary categories. Full years of experience shall be granted for teaching experience. Teachers with certification in industrial subjects, who are teaching more than of their time in industrial subjects, shall be granted of journeyman’s experience subject to the provisions of such other clauses this agreement as may apply. The maximum payable is the maximum of the teacher’s category. Further, certified teachers teaching more than their time in the subject areas of Home Economics and Commerce shall be granted of up to ten years proven experience in the foregoing directly related subject fields as determined by the Joint Committee. A teacher who was granted experience recognition under this provision and who is no longer teaching the required proportion of time in the subject shall not have such recognition withdrawn but shall remain at the same experience step until regular experience recognition brings about an advancement, all of this provided the change in assignment was not at the teacher’s request. One year’s teaching experience will be defined as: A minimum of the full time equivalent of eight months continuous teaching in one year or calendar year. OR Eight months teaching experience accumulated in any three or less years. Periods to be accumulated must involve a minimum of one month and may not be broken up to be applied to more than one experience increment. Part-time teaching shall be pro-rated to full-time equivalent.
Schedule Placement. 7.5.1 Employees shall be paid the appropriate rate of pay according to the classification series and step on the appropriate salary schedule. Salary schedule steps are calculated to mean years of uninterrupted service to the school district in the classification series.
Schedule Placement. A probationary employee starts at the beginning wage (Step 1) of the appropriate wage schedule. The District, at its discretion, may hire at step 2 based on experience. Following successful completion of the probationary period, employees in the Paraprofessional and LPN/Health Care Nurse classifications will move to the succeeding step on the wage schedule.
Schedule Placement. 9.2.1 New Hires: A newly hired employee will receive the entry rate of pay for the position.
