Section C. Personal Leave. ‌ 2 Personal leave is to take care of personal business which requires absence during school hours and 3 which cannot be scheduled on non-business days or during non-school hours.
Section C. Personal Leave. 1. A maximum of three (3) days of personal leave shall be granted upon request to each Broadmoor calendar staff member, and a maximum of four (4) days of personal leave shall be granted upon request to each standard calendar staff member for emergencies, religious holidays, or personal business which cannot be conducted outside of the regular day. Personal leave cannot be taken in increments less than one-half day. For both full-time and part-time employees, the hours paid for a personal leave day shall be based upon the individual employee's regularly scheduled workday, regardless of length, for the full or partial day taken. Personal leave eligibility will be prorated for new employees who begin employment on or after December 1 for that employment year.
Section C. Personal Leave. All teachers will be permitted to use six (6) of the 12 days of sick leave each contract year for personal leave. No more than 10 percent or one (1), whichever is more, of the school building’s personnel will be allowed personal leave on any given day. The request shall be filed through the district’s absence management system at least two days in advance of the requested leave period under personal leave request. If the teacher does not use all of his/her leave days during the school year, the remaining balance will be carried over to individual teacher’s sick leave bank. Each year, a maximum of six (6) personal leave days can be used, and a teacher can take a maximum of three (3) consecutive personal days of leave at one time per year. Please see section D below in the event the amount of leave exceeds three consecutive days.

  • Personal Leave Written request for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Hospital. Such requests are to be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor at least four (4) weeks in advance, unless not reasonably possible to give such notice, and a written reply will be given within fourteen (14) days except in cases of emergency in which case a reply will be given as soon as possible. Employees needing personal leave days for appointments with medical practitioners may utilize the personal leave language. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

The employer and the employee shall agree on the period. In the absence of agreement, the employee is entitled to take up to two days (up to a maximum of 16 hours) of unpaid leave per occasion, provided the requirements of 7.2.5(a) and 7.2.5(b) are met.

  • Personal Leave With Pay With prior notification, full-time employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may use a maximum of six (6) days personal leave with pay per year, provided that such days shall be charged against the employee’s current accrued sick leave. This leave is non-cumulative.
