Section Pension. Commencing on the first day of November and on the first day of each month thereafter, the Company agrees to contribute to the Teamsters and Motor Transport Industrial Relations Bureau of Ontario Pension Plan handled by joint Trustees, an amount of one hundred and thirty three dollars ($133.00) per month for each Regular Full Time employee covered by this agreement who has reported for work at least one day in the month. The Pension Plan shall be administered by a Trust Company or any other legally entitled Company to perform such administration in the Province of Ontario, which the Trustees may decide from time to time. Effective November the monthly contribution will increase to one hundred and sixty six dollars ($166.00). Effective November I, the monthly contribution will increase to one hundred and ninety nine dollars ($199.00). Effective November I, the monthly contribution will increase to two hundred and thirty two dollars ($232.00).

Section Pension. Any regular employee who is not eligible for coverage under the Municipal Act receive, only upon retirement, a salary grant calculated on the basis of one (1) month's pay for each five (5) years of service with the City at the date of retirement. The said regular employee must work a minimum of five (5) years with the City. For each month excess of any five (5) year period, the salary grant shall be prorated on the basis month's pay for each five (5) years of service. A part-time employee is one that is employed for less than a regular work week of forty-two (42) hours (Fire Suppression) or thirty-five (35) hours (Fire Prevention). Part-time employees are not entitled to regular employee benefits. They will, instead, receive a twelve percent (12%) cash settlement on their pay cheque which would cover benefits, vacation and general holidays, group life and other miscellaneous benefits. Any new Regular Employees who are scheduled to regularly work twenty (20) hours per week or more will, on commencing employment,elect to participate in benefit plans or receive a percentage in lieu. Section Pension. The City shall contribute two and one-half percent of each employee's basic monthly salary, to be an additional contribution to Municipal Superannuation, provided that each such employee has completed six (6) months of and as a condition of employment will be required to contribute two percent (2%) of his basic monthly salary as an addition to Municipal Superannuation.
