Shift & Weekend Premium Clause Samples

The Shift & Weekend Premium clause establishes additional compensation for employees who work during designated shifts or on weekends. Typically, this means that employees scheduled to work outside of standard business hours, such as night shifts or Saturday and Sunday shifts, receive a higher hourly wage or a fixed premium on top of their regular pay. This clause ensures that employees are fairly compensated for working less desirable hours, helping employers attract and retain staff for critical time slots and addressing staffing challenges during off-peak periods.
