SHIFT & WEEKEND PREMIUM. (a) An employee shall receive a shift premium of one dollar and eighty five cents ($1.85) per hour for all hours worked, including overtime hours worked, on complete shifts, half or more of the hours of which are regularly scheduled between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (b) An employee shall receive a weekend premium of one dollar and eighty five cents ($1.85) per hour for all hours worked, including overtime hours worked, on complete shifts, half or more of the hours of which are regularly scheduled between 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and 7:00 a.m. on Monday. (c) An employee shall not be entitled to claim both the shift premium and weekend premium for the same hours worked.

SHIFT & WEEKEND PREMIUM. 19.01 A weekend premium of three dollars and twenty-five cents ($3.25) per hour will be paid to an Employee for all hours worked between 1500 hours Friday and 0700 hours Monday, provided that a minimum of two (2) hours is worked within that time period. 19.02 A shift premium of two dollars and seventy-five cents ($2.75) per hour will be paid to an Employee for all hours worked between 1500 hours and 2300 hours provided that a minimum of two (2) hours is worked within that time period. 19.03 A shift premium of five dollars ($5.00) per hour will be paid to an Employee for all hours worked between 2300 hours and 0700 hours provided that a minimum of two (2) hours is worked within that time period. 19.04 The Shift and Weekend Premiums are only paid on Regular Hours worked at the Basic Rate of Pay. For all hours worked at the overtime or call back rate, the premium(s) will be paid on each applicable hour worked. 19.05 When working an evening or night shift on a weekend, both premiums shall apply.
SHIFT & WEEKEND PREMIUM. A premium of forty cents ($.40) per hour shall be paid on all hours worked that take place between 6:00 p.m. and 6:59 a.m. daily and on all hours worked on the weekend from 6:00 p.m. Friday to 6:59 a.m. on Monday. This excludes time paid for carrying a pager and travel time.

SHIFT & WEEKEND PREMIUM. Employees working the twelve (12) hour shift work schedule will be paid a shift / weekend premium of $121.80 per month for such hours worked.
SHIFT & WEEKEND PREMIUM a) Where the majority of an employee’s hours on a shift falls between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., the employee shall receive a shift premium of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. This clause is not applicable to students. It is agreed that for the 11am to 7pm shift the fifty cent ($0.50) premium will be paid for the hours between 3pm and 7pm. b) A weekend premium will be paid between the start of the shift commencing on or about 2300 hours on Friday and the end of the shift ending on or about 2300 hours on Sunday. Effective November 1, 2020, the weekend premium will increase to forty-five cents ($0.45) per hour.

SHIFT & WEEKEND PREMIUM. An employee required to work the majority of her hours on any shift between hours and hours, shall be paid an evening shift premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for that shift. The above allowance shall be applicable from hours to the termination of the day shift on a twelve (12) hour shift pattern during which at least two (2) hours are worked between hours and the termination of the shift. An employee required to work the majority of her hours on any shift between hours and hours, shall be paid a night shift premium of one-dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) per hour for that shift. Shift Premium and Weekend Premium will not be payable while an employee is receiving overtime rates. A weekend premium of one dollar and thirty-five cents ($1.35) per hour shall be paid to an employee for all hours worked on any shift where the majority of hours on that shift fall between hours on the Saturday and hours on the following Sunday. Employees assigned a schedule of only night shifts or evening shifts on a permanent basis will receive shift premium while on paid vacation.

Employees shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar ($1.25) per hour for each hour worked between 23:00 hours Friday and ending 23:00 Sunday. As of April 1, 2013, the Shift and Weekend premium of one dollar and forty ($1.40) per hour for all hours worked where the majority of their scheduled hours fall between 15:00 and 07:00 hours. As of April 1, 2014, the Shift and Weekend premium of one dollar and forty five ($1.45) per hour for all hours worked where the majority of their scheduled hours fall between 15:00 and 07:00. If an employee is receiving premium pay under Article 9.19 s/he will not receive weekend premium under this Article.

  • Weekend Premium An employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and forty-five cents ($1.45) per hour for each hour worked between 2400 hours Friday to 2400 hours Sunday or such other 48 hour period that the Hospital may establish.   • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday. (b) When the employee is scheduled off on a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to schedule the employee off the paid holiday. (c) In the event of a scheduling conflict, 12.07 (a) will be the deciding provision.

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.

  • Overtime Premium a) Time and one-half (1/2) shall be paid as follows: 1) For all hours worked over 8 (eight) hours per day. 2) For all hours worked over 40 (forty) hours per week. 3) For all hours worked on Sunday, unless part of the employees regularly scheduled workweek. b) Double time plus holiday pay shall be paid for all hours worked on holidays that are defined in this Agreement.

  • Sunday Premium Any employee who is required to work at any time on a Sunday shall be paid a Sunday premium in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of seventy-five (75¢) cents per hour, for each such hour and portion of an hour worked. Sunday premium pay shall not be added to an employee's hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime. The provisions of this Article shall not apply to the “in charge” employees referred to in sub-articles 23.03 and 23.04 of this Agreement.
