Shop Overtime (General. A. The overtime sign-up sheet will be posted one (1) week in advance. There will be no additions or deletions to the sign-up sheet after it is taken down at 3:00 p.m. on the day before the overtime is scheduled. Employees may sign for the shift(s) of their preference. B. The following code, noted by the employee on the Daily Overtime Sign-Up Sheet, will alter the way overtime offers are made at 3:00 p.m. only: 1. Will Work (WW) means the employee will accept overtime without Employer telephone or personal contact. C. Overtime offers are made by telephone, or personal contact, or sign-up sheet notification. Telephone offers for overtime may be accepted by anyone at the designated telephone number. One telephone call will be made per employee. If no answer, the employee will be charged for the time. D. Telephone numbers that are busy over ten (10) minutes and telephone answering machines/pagers that are not responded to within ten (10) minutes are considered called. The employee will be charged with the time and the work will be offered to the next eligible employee. E. Anyone who works overtime will be expected to work one-half (1/2) of his/her regular scheduled shift, unless excused by a supervisor. Provided, however, employee exercising option to lay off scheduled shift hours on basis of overtime hours must communicate effectively with immediate supervision of intended report time. Once adjusted, scheduled shift hours can not be then altered absent mutual agreement. Failing to report as acknowledged by employee subjects that employee to disciplinary procedures as outlined herein. F. If an employee signs up for overtime work and turns it down, he/she will be charged with the time. G. Vacancies, if filled with overtime by the Employer, will be offered in the following manner: 1. Regular shift work vacancies that the Employer elects to fill will be offered in order of the first known piece of work (vacations, long-term sick, etc.) to the employee who is first up for the time. Overtime assignments will be offered in chronological order beginning with the first shift. Extra work is to be offered last, after minimum staffing levels, as determined by the Employer, have been scheduled. The first known piece of work means the piece of work known for the longest period of time. 2. The Daily OT Sign-Up Sheet will be used first to make the overtime assignment.   • LEAVE GENERAL 30.1 For purposes of earned leave credits or other leave entitlements, a day shall be equal to seven decimal five (7.5) hours for employees to whom Schedules 2 (Supervisory) and 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 (Non-supervisory) of the Pay Schedules apply or eight (8) hours for employees to whom Schedules 3 (Supervisory) and 3 (Non-supervisory) of the Pay Schedules apply. 30.2 When leave is granted, it will be granted on an hourly basis and the number of hours debited for each day of leave shall be equal to the number of hours of work scheduled for the employee for the day in question. 30.3 Notwithstanding the above, Article 35.2 Bereavement Leave, a day will mean a calendar day. 30.4 When an employee has been permitted to liquidate more vacation or sick leave with pay than the employee has earned and the employee’s employment is terminated by death, the employee shall be considered to have earned such leave. 30.5 When an employee has been permitted to liquidate more vacation or sick leave with pay than the employee has earned, and the employee’s employment is terminated for reasons of incapacity or layoff, the employee shall be considered to have earned such leave if at the time of termination for reasons of incapacity or lay-off the employee has completed two (2) or more years of continuous service. Following notice of termination for reasons of incapacity or lay-off, an employee is entitled to liquidate earned leave only. 30.6 The amount of leave with pay credited to an employee by the Council at the time when this Agreement becomes effective, or at the time when the employee becomes subject to this Agreement, shall be retained as leave by the employee, except as provided for in those clauses providing for the liquidation of compensatory leave. 30.7 An employee is entitled at least once in each fiscal year to be informed, upon request, of the balance of his vacation, compensatory and sick leave. 30.8 An employee is not entitled to leave with pay during periods of leave without pay or when the employee is under suspension. 30.9 An employee shall not be granted two (2) different types of leave with pay in respect of the same period of time.

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate. B. Overtime shall be paid to employees for work performed only after eight (8) hours on duty in any one (1) service day or forty (40) hours in any one (1) service week. Nothing in this Section shall be construed by the parties or any reviewing authority to deny the payment of overtime to employees for time worked outside of their regularly scheduled work week at the request of the Employer.   • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Reasonable Overtime (a) There is a requirement to work reasonable overtime. Subject to that requirement being met, it is not compulsory for an Employee to work overtime in a particular case. (b) On jobs where overtime is necessary, the work crew may be rostered so that each Employee is not disadvantaged as to the amount of overtime worked (subject to the Employer being able to maintain appropriate levels of coverage as required to meet operational needs). On any day that overtime is worked there will be no necessity for all Employees on that particular job to work. (c) Excessive overtime shall not be worked. It is agreed that every effort shall be made to eliminate excessive overtime and create as many employment opportunities as possible. Any suggested and agreed measures to address this shall be discussed by the persons covered by this Agreement and reviewed regularly on all projects throughout the life of this Agreement.

  • Notice Generally Any notice, demand, request, consent, approval, declaration, delivery, or other communication to be made pursuant to the provisions of this Warrant shall be deemed sufficiently given or made if in writing and either delivered in person with receipt acknowledged or sent by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, postage prepaid, or by telecopy and confirmed by telecopy answerback, addressed as follows: (a) If to any Holder or holder of Warrant Shares, at its last known address appearing on the books of the Company maintained for such purpose. (b) If to the Company at: Energy & Exploration Partners, Inc. Attn: General Counsel Two City Place, Suite 1700 100 Xxxxxxxxxxxx Xxxx Xxxxx, Xxxxx 00000 Facsimile: 000-000-0000 or at such address as may be substituted by notice given as herein provided. The party entitled to receive any notice required hereunder may waive such notice in writing. Every notice, demand, request, consent, approval, declaration, delivery, or other communication hereunder shall be deemed to have been duly given or served on the earlier of (i) the date on which personally delivered, with receipt acknowledged, telecopied and confirmed by telecopy answerback, or (ii) in the case of any notice delivered pursuant to Section 2, three (3) Business Days after the same shall have been deposited in the United States mail. Notice by electronic mail shall not constitute effective notice hereunder.

  • Uses of Sick Leave a. Sick leave shall be accrued before being taken, provided that an employee who participates in a sick leave pool shall not be prohibited from using sick leave otherwise available to the employee through the sick leave pool. b. Sick leave shall be authorized for the following: i. The employee's personal illness or exposure to a contagious disease, which would endanger others. ii. The employee's personal appointments with a health care provider. iii. The illness or injury of a member of the employee's immediate family, at the discretion of the supervisor. Approval of requests for use of reasonable amounts of sick leave for caring for a member of the employee's immediate family shall not be unreasonably withheld. "Immediate family" means the spouse and the grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren of both the employee and the spouse, and dependents living in the household.

  • Comprehensive General Liability Contractor shall have and maintain comprehensive general liability insurance coverage during the entire term of the Contract, against claims arising out of bodily injury, death, damage to or destruction of the property of others, including loss of use thereof, and including underground, collapse and explosion (XCU) and products and completed operations in an amount not less than five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) each occurrence and one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) in the general aggregate.

  • Overtime Equalization The assignment of overtime shall be reasonably equalized within classifications. The normal maximum hours officers will be scheduled is (15) fifteen hours. Upon field training competition, probationary officers will begin their total overtime hours on the overtime equalization chart at the average of all members within the officer classification. An overtime equalization chart shall be maintained within the department. The chart shall list all overtime offers and each officer’s declined and accepted hours for each particular offer. Each time an officer is offered overtime, the number of overtime hours worked, or the number of hours declined, will be credited to officer’s chart. The overtime equalization chart shall be posted monthly.

  • Reimbursement of the General Partner (a) Except as provided in this Section 7.12 and elsewhere in this Agreement, the General Partner shall not be compensated for its services as a general partner or managing member of any Group Member. (b) The General Partner shall be reimbursed on a monthly basis, or such other basis as the Board of Directors may determine, for any direct and indirect expenses it incurs that are allocable to the Partnership Group or payments it makes on behalf of the Partnership Group (including salary, bonus, incentive compensation and other amounts paid to any Person, including Affiliates of the General Partner, to perform services for the Partnership Group or for the General Partner in the discharge of its duties to the Partnership Group, which amounts shall also include reimbursement for any Common Units purchased to satisfy obligations of the Partnership under any of its equity compensation plans). The Board of Directors shall determine the expenses that are allocable to the Partnership Group. Reimbursements pursuant to this Section 7.12 shall be in addition to any reimbursement to the General Partner as a result of indemnification pursuant to Section 7.15. (c) Subject to the applicable rules and regulations of the National Securities Exchange on which the Common Units are listed, the Board of Directors, without the approval of the Partners (who shall have no right to vote in respect thereof), may propose and adopt on behalf of the Partnership employee benefit plans, employee programs and employee practices (including plans, programs and practices involving the issuance of Partnership Interests or options to purchase or rights, warrants or appreciation rights or phantom or tracking interests relating to Partnership Interests), or cause the Partnership to issue Partnership Interests in connection with, or pursuant to, any employee benefit plan, employee program or employee practice maintained or sponsored by the Partnership, the General Partner or any of its Affiliates, in each case for the benefit of employees and directors of the Partnership, the General Partner, any Group Member or any Affiliate thereof, or any of them, in respect of services performed, directly or indirectly, for the benefit of the Partnership Group. The Partnership agrees to issue and sell to the General Partner or any of its Affiliates any Partnership Interests that the General Partner or such Affiliates are obligated to provide to any employees and directors pursuant to any such employee benefit plans, employee programs or employee practices. Expenses incurred by the General Partner in connection with any such plans, programs and practices (including the net cost to the General Partner or such Affiliates of Partnership Interests purchased by the General Partner or such Affiliates from the Partnership or otherwise to fulfill options or awards under such plans, programs and practices) shall be reimbursed in accordance with Section 7.12(b). Any and all obligations of the General Partner under any employee benefit plans, employee programs or employee practices adopted by the General Partner as permitted by this Section 7.12(c) shall constitute obligations of the General Partner hereunder and shall be assumed by any successor General Partner approved pursuant to Sections 11.1 or 11.2 or the transferee of or successor to all of the General Partner’s General Partner Interest pursuant to Section 4.6.
