Staff Development Day. The Board and Association agree that staff development shall be mutually agreed upon by the building administrator and the certificated/licensed staff in each building. No staff development session shall exceed three (3) hours. Topics for staff development shall be reasonably developed and identified by the building administrator and the building certificated/licensed staff.

Staff Development Day. 28.1 One day per year, with pay, shall be provided for the purpose of conducting a staff development program for all members of the bargaining unit. Selection of the date or dates and content of the program for the Staff Development Day shall be determined after consultation with the Union.

If the mandated day is not within the unit member’s regularly scheduled workdays, they will be compensated for this day at their appropriate rate of pay.
