STARTING TIME AND PLACE. The parties agree to develop and follow procedures to eliminate lost time and make better use of available working time, e.g. start and finish at the designated workface at normal start and finish times, except where extraordinary conditions pose difficulties. The workface shall be deemed to be no further than the closest lift on high-rise construction and no further than 50 metres from the lunch shed on low-rise construction. The workface will be mutually agreed between the Company and the majority of employees on individual sites and varied from time to time, as the nature of the site requires it. If no agreement is possible it shall be dealt with in accordance with the disputes procedure.

  • Starting Time is the time that employees present themselves at their work- station and not the time that employees are in the amenities or in the car park.

  • Starting Times Each site principal with input from the leadership team shall determine the starting times for staff members within legal requirements and exactly equal to the work day as set forth in Article 8.1.

  • WAITING TIME Those employees working on a project who are entitled to receive subsistence allowance shall be paid a lump sum as waiting time based on the applicable straight time rate provided for in the Schedules attached hereto as follows:

  • Rain at Starting Time Where the employees are in the sheds, because they have been rained off, or at starting time, morning tea, or lunchtime, and it is raining, they shall not be required to go to work in a dry area or to be transferred to another site unless: ⮚ The rain stops; or ⮚ A covered walkway has been provided; or ⮚ The sheds are under cover and the employees can get to the dry area without going through the rain; or ⮚ Adequate protection is provided. Protection shall, where necessary, be provided for the employees’ tools.

  • Training Time When an employee is ordered by the County to attend training, the time spent in training shall be counted as hours worked. Training which takes place during off-duty hours with attendance voluntary is not hours worked.

  • Travelling Time and Fares Employees will be paid an excess fares allowance as prescribed by Schedule A per day where they have entitlement to this allowance under the Parent Award. Where an employee has an entitlement to the average excess travelling time payment pursuant to sub-clause

  • Starting Date Unless a specific (fixed) starting date is duly justified and agreed upon during the preparation of the Grant Agreement, the project will start on the first day of the month following the entry info force of the Grant Agreement (NB : entry into force = signature by the Commission). Please note that if a fixed starting date is used, you will be required to provide a detailed justification on a separate note.

  • TRAVELLING TIME 12.01 For the purposes of this Agreement travelling time is compensated for only in the circumstances and to the extent provided for in this Article.

  • Voting Time All employees shall be allowed up to two paid hours for the purpose of voting provided the employee does not have sufficient time before or after regular duty hours to vote. The two hours authorized for voting does not apply to those employees who by reasons of their employment must vote by use of an absentee ballot.
