Technology Allowance. In recognition of Assistant Superintendent’s need to acquire and maintain personal technology devices to perform the duties of the position, such as a laptop computer, cellular telephone, Internet access, and related technologies (“Technology Devices”), Assistant Superintendent shall receive an allowance of three hundred dollars ($300) per month. The Assistant Superintendent shall use all Technology Devices in accordance with District policies and legal requirements. Assistant Superintendent agrees to sign all technology use agreements or other forms that are required of other District employees. Assistant Superintendent agrees to conduct all District business, by email or otherwise, on a District account so that all business-related communications are available to the District irrespective of the form of communication or device used. No documentation is required in order to receive this allowance and the Assistant Superintendent shall have discretion regarding the expenditure of this allowance. Payment of this allowance shall not be considered creditable compensation for CalSTRS retirement purposes, unless otherwise permitted by law.
Technology Allowance. The Authorities Technology Policy (also known as the Mobile Device Acceptable Use Policy) will be adhered to by both employer and employee.
Technology Allowance. The Board shall not provide the Superintendent with a cell phone for business use; however, the Board shall provide the Superintendent with an annual technology allowance in addition to salary as compensation for the use of his personal cell phone and for the use of his personal internet hot spot in the transaction of official District business. The amount of the technology allowance the Superintendent will receive will be adjusted annually and will be equal to the technology allowance the District provides other cabinet level administrators.
Technology Allowance.
a. In the event the appointing authority requires an employee to go on- call/standby and use a cellular phone to conduct City-related business, the employee will receive a monthly technology allowance of one hundred dollars ($100.00) in lieu of using a City-provided cellular telephone.
b. Employees who refuse to work on call/standby, or who have the option of working on call/standby and elect not to do so, are ineligible for the allowance.
c. Use of City-provided cellular telephones shall be discontinued upon receipt of the technology allowance by the employee.
d. Upon approval of the monthly technology allowance the employee shall provide and maintain a personal cellular phone and service that is available to conduct City-related business. The employee shall provide the cellular telephone number to designated individuals and organizations with whom the employee normally conducts City-related business.
Technology Allowance.
a. If the City requires an Exempt Management or Exempt Management Support employee to be generally accessible via cellular telephone for the conduct of City-related business, the City shall either provide a technology allowance or a City-issued cellular phone in lieu of a technology allowance in accordance with the provisions of this Section.
b. Exempt Management (Unit 01) and Exempt Management Support (Unit 14) employees may be authorized a monthly technology allowance of up to one- hundred dollars ($100.00). At the discretion of the Appointing Authority, or as delegated by the City Manager to a department head, the City may provide a City-issued cellular phone in lieu of a technology allowance. Use of City- provided cellular telephones shall be discontinued upon receipt of the technology allowance by the employee.
c. Upon approval of the technology allowance, the employee shall provide and maintain a personal cellular telephone and service that is available to conduct City-related business. The employee shall provide and the City may publish the cellular telephone number to designated individuals and organizations with whom the employee normally conducts City-related business.

Technology Allowance.
a. Employees in the classifications of Supervising Dispatcher who, in their capacity as line supervisors, have Dispatcher IIIs reporting to them, and Survey Party Chief shall receive a monthly technology allowance of fifty dollars ($50.00).
b. Use of City-provided cellular telephones shall be discontinued upon receipt of the technology allowance by the employee.
c. Upon approval of the monthly technology allowance the employee shall provide and maintain a personal cellular phone and service that is available to conduct City-related business. The employee shall provide the cellular telephone number to designated individuals and organizations with whom the employee normally conducts City-related business.
Technology Allowance. Xx. Xxxxx shall be paid a reasonable annual allowance of $2000.00 as reimbursement for the use of his/her own personal cell phone, other technology, supplies, and incidentals as required in the performance of his duties.
Technology Allowance. 18.1 Employees covered by this MOU shall be provided with a $75 monthly technology allowance. The City Manager has the sole discretion to grant, modify or deny an allowance for employees covered by this resolution.
Technology Allowance. Each unit member shall be entitled to a technology allowance of up to $750 per year for the purchase of, rental, or month expenses in connection with the acquisition of any technology related device or apparatus which is work related and reasonably necessary to carry out the duties of their position. This benefit shall only be available upon prior approval for the purchase or acquisition of said device or apparatus, and provided that the employee is able to establish that the device is work related and beneficial to the performance of the employee's duties as an administrative staff member of the Binghamton City School District. When the technology device is purchased, it shall become the property of the individual Administrator, once purchased, following proper approval from the Superintendent or the Superintendent's designee.
