Training and Operations. ‌ I In addition to the ASIS guidelines and the Pre-Assignment Basic Training, Contractor must provide eight additional training hours per year to all guards assigned to the State.‌‌‌‌ Guards furnished by Contractor must have a minimum of forty hours of specialized training, including any requirements mandated by the State which include the Pre-Assignment Basic Training.‌‌‌ Contractor must use a Minnesota Private Detective and Protective Agent Board (MNPDB) certified trainer to conduct any Board-approved training (i.e., Pre-Assignment Basic Training). For trainings that are not Board-approved,‌ Contractor must use a qualified instructor or supervisor to conduct the training. Contractor must maintain records of all members attending and the results of any tests. State of MN Pre-Assignment Basic Training must include, but is not limited to the following subjects and pre- requisites:‌‌ • Functions of security, access control, and patrol techniques;‌ • Fire alarm systems, use of fire extinguishers, alarm panel principles, and fire characteristics;‌ • Pre-requisite: Introductory First Aid. TSC training curriculum does not include Basic Life Support (BLS) LVL1.‌ • Pre-requisite: CPR (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or State approved equivalent) and use of AED;‌ • Blood-born pathogen hazards and use of Contractor-provided supplies;‌ • Public relations, customer service, and cultural diversity;‌ • Authority to apply appropriate use of force in accordance with company polices and perform a citizen’s‌ xxxxxx.Xxxxxx writing; • Cultural Diversity;‌ • Minnesota Sexual Harassment Laws;‌ • Vulnerable Adult Training;‌ • Introduction to Windows or documentation of prior successful Windows training;‌ • HIPAA and Minnesota Information Privacy laws and responsibilities as outlined by the State;‌ • Verbal de-escalation training; and‌ • Observe and Report‌ Contractor shall provide the requesting agency a copy of all training curriculum including all materials or examples if requested.‌‌‌‌ In addition to the training requirements, security guards must be in compliance with Minn.   • Communications and Operations Management a. Network Penetration Testing - DST shall, on approximately an annual basis, contract with an independent third party to conduct a network penetration test on its network having access to or holding or containing Fund Data. DST shall have a process to review and evaluate high risk findings resulting from this testing.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision. The contracting agency may reserve training positions for persons who receive welfare assistance in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 140(a). c. The contractor will advise employees and applicants for employment of available training programs and entrance requirements for each. d. The contractor will periodically review the training and promotion potential of employees who are minorities and women and will encourage eligible employees to apply for such training and promotion.

  • Felling and Bucking Felling shall be done to minimize breakage of Included Timber and dam- age to residual timber. Unless agreed otherwise, felling shall be done by saws or shears. Insofar as ground conditions, tree lean, and shape of clearings per- mit, trees shall be felled so that their tops do not extend outside Clearcutting Units, construction clearings, and ar- eas of regeneration cutting. B6.000 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The xxxxx heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where xxxxx heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.

  • STANDARDS OF MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS In performing its obligations hereunder, during the term of this ESA, the Competitive Supplier shall exercise reasonable care to assure that its facilities are prudently and efficiently managed; that it employs an adequate number of competently trained and experienced personnel to carry out its responsibilities; that it delivers or arranges to deliver a safe and reliable supply of such amounts of electricity to the Point of Delivery as are required under this ESA; that it complies with all relevant industry standards and practices for the supply of electricity to Participating Consumers; and that, at all times with respect to Participating Consumers, it exercises good practice for a Competitive Supplier and employs Commercially Reasonable skills, systems and methods available to it.
