Training and Preparation a. A bargaining unit member who volunteers for interactive television instruction shall be offered training in the use of necessary technology prior to the start of the initial assignment. The College shall determine the type of training and shall make the training available prior to the start of the initial assignment.
b. Additional training shall be offered where feasible as determined by the College at the request of the bargaining unit member.
c. The College shall compensate each bargaining unit member an additional credit/contact hour toward teaching load or overload compensation during the first semester the bargaining unit member volunteers for and is assigned to interactive television instruction. The College may grant an additional hour of such compensation during the first semester the bargaining unit member uses interactive television instruction after major changes in technology.
Training and Preparation. 1. Members of the LPDC shall be provided the opportunity to attend training on the purpose, responsibilities, functioning, and legal requirements of the LPDC. The committee will submit all training requests to the Superintendent for prior approval.
2. Training requested in accordance with E.1. above, will be provided at no cost to the committee members or loss of pay. All costs of training, including all registration costs, travel, meals, accommodations and mileage, will be borne by the Board of Education.
3. LPDC training for committee members shall constitute appropriate "equivalent activities" for the purpose of the committee members' own individual development plans, if the committee so decides.

The Supplier must employ personnel possessing the skills, knowledge, licences and certificates which are required and necessary to perform the corresponding work in a safe manner, making available to ENEL the records and appropriate documentation confirming such abilities, knowledge and skills. If it is reasonable, ENEL may require the Supplier to withdraw any employee from the Worksite who:

The Supplier, through its supervisors or managers, must perform daily before the start of the day and whenever, during the co urse of a working day, there should be a change of activity or environmental conditions, an informative lecture aimed at its personnel and its subcontractors indicating the risks linked to the activity and the actions necessary to reduce these risks. This action must be documented. The Supplier must inform all its personnel and the personnel of its subcontractors of their contractual obligations regarding occupational health, safety and the environment. The Supplier must maintain a permanent programme of communication and awareness regarding Occupational Health, Safety and respect for the Environment.

The Supplier agrees to provide training to its personnel and its subcontractors in the field of prevention of: Occupational accidents, environmental accidents, occupational diseases, risks and hazards that may affect them, including methods and systems to be used in order to prevent or avoid these accidents and risks. The Supplier must inform all its personnel and the personnel of its subcontractors of their contractual obligations regarding occupational health, safety and the environment. The Supplier must maintain a permanent programme of communication and awareness towards Occupational Health, Safety and respect for the Environment. The Supplier's Supervisors or Managers must hold regular on-site meetings on the risks of the activities and the actions to be taken to reduce said risks.
Training and Preparation. It is agreed that the members of the Consultative Committee will be allowed time to attend training courses to prepare them to carry out their duties on the committee effectively.
