Transfer Elements. Treatment of Associate degrees and general education core as admission criteria This AA establishes the principle that all applicable associate degrees at Maricopa transfer to Columbia. Maricopa graduates will not need to repeat general education requirements at Columbia. All credits are accepted and applied toward the designated/appropriate college degree(s). Articulated Associate degrees will be identified, maintained, and available as a separate document from this AA. Maricopa graduates with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0, courses numbered 100 and above, entering under the terms of this AA are guaranteed admission into the college. However, students should be advised that some degree programs at Columbia might require a higher GPA for admission. Maricopa graduates will follow Columbia’s transfer process and, therefore, must meet all applicable requirements and deadlines pertaining to application for admission, advising, registration, and payment of tuition and fees. They will abide by the policies and procedures, along with any revisions thereof that apply to all students from that institution. In order to complete the baccalaureate program in a timely manner, students are advised to follow the transfer guide for the academic program they plan to pursue at Columbia. If the student intends to change degree focus upon admission to Columbia, the student may be required to complete some lower division preparation work prior to beginning the program at Columbia. Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) Completion of Maricopa’s Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC), a 35 semester-credit general education program of study will transfer and satisfy the LAS Core Curriculum at Columbia College Chicago. The AGEC can be transferred and accepted only as a component of an earned Associate degree. Students who have not earned an Associate degree at Maricopa may submit completed AGEC credits for transfer consideration on a course-by-course basis.. Treatment of Maricopa coursework as admission criteria Students who transfer to Columbia with less than an Associate degree, an Associate in Applied Science degree, or an Associate degree that does not articulate to a program, will have their Arizona General Education courses evaluated on a course-by-course basis and may be required to take any additional courses necessary to satisfy the LAS Core requirements at Columbia. Transfer Elements. This MOU establishes the principle that the Associate of Science degree in Business Administration at Southern University at Shreveport, Louisiana, transfers to GSU as herein set forth in the following paragraphs. Only grades of “C” or higher will be accepted for transfer credit. Transfer Elements. 1. All coursework presented by students who have attended BCC will transfer to SCPS, with the exception of varsity athletics or courses indentified by the first institution as developmental/remedial. A maximum of 64 hours earned at two-­‐year colleges will apply to the bachelor’s degree. Students transferring with an associate degree from BCC will not be required to take any further general education course work if they have already completed English composition I and II as well as a college level math course (preferably college algebra). Students will only be required to complete coursework in their chosen major plus any additional course work needed to total a minimum of 60 hours of upper division course work. Students must have a minimum of 124 credit hours to graduate from SCPS.
Transfer Elements. Gateway Community College graduates with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 entering under the terms of this agreement are guaranteed admission into a Bachelor’s degree program at Ashford University provided they meet all admissions requirements for the degree program. The transfer guides outlined in this Articulation Agreement are applicable to students transferring to Ashford University from Community College during the Catalog year 2008- 2009. Under this agreement, Gateway Community College students transferring with an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in General Studies, Associate in Business, Associate in Arts in Elementary Education, Associate in Transfer Partnership Degree or Arizona General Education Curriculum will have fulfilled all general education requirements at Ashford University. Gateway Community College students transferring without an aforementioned degree will have all college-level academic credit (generally, 100-level or higher), and with a grade of “C-” or better, accepted for transfer on a course-by-course basis into the academic categories that are the best fits (e.g. elective, General Education requirement, major course). Students may transfer up to 90 Community College credits. Credits must have been earned with grade of “C-” or better from regionally accredited or selected nationally Revision date: 07/17/2008 accredited colleges or universities. Transfer credits will generally be evaluated from each college or university independently. A maximum of 9 credits with a “D” grade are transferable as long as the student’s cumulative overall GPA is 2.0 or above.

Transfer Elements. Entourage Institute of Beauty Degrees • Pathways College and Entourage will draft and maintain Course Assessment, as an addendum to this ARTICULATION AGREEMENT, that identifies which Entourage experiences and learning objectives qualify for credit by credential and therefore satisfy specific courses, general education or unrestricted elective requirements at the Pathways College. • Under this ARTICULATION AGREEMENT, students who complete the certifications and learning experiences listed on the Credential Assessment Rubric, will receive transfer credit for those courses that are required in the chosen program of study at Pathways College. • Course credit earned through this prior learning shall be noted on the student’s transcript as having been awarded through credential assessment. • For Bachelor’s Degrees: Pathways College may apply up to a combined maximum of 90 transfer credits. Pathways College requires a minimum of 120 credit hours to attain a bachelor’s degree. • For Associates: Pathways College may apply up to a combined maximum of 60 transfer credits. Pathways College requires a minimum of 90 credit hours to attain an associate’s degree. • Residency requirement: twenty-five percent (25%) of the credits for a degree must be completed at Pathways College. • Students must meet the admission and degree requirements for the academic year in which they are admitted. Please refer to Pathways College Academic Catalog for complete admissions and program requirements. • Pathways College and Entourage shall review and update the Credential Assessment Rubrics necessitated by curriculum or learning experience changes by either party.
