Trousers. Fire Inspectors shall wear either the Class C uniform or city provided blue coveralls, hard hat and safety shoes while investigating fire causes. All articles of uniform are to be maintained in a neat and clean manner. All employees shall be required to conform to the following hair grooming standards:
1. Hair, sideburns and mustaches shall be neatly trimmed, groomed, and clean. Style of hair is the individual’s choice, but hair styles that are in conflict with safety standards or operations are prohibited.
2. Beards and whiskers shall not be allowed. The only exception to this will be for medical purposes when certified by a physician.

Trousers. (for boys/girls) must be school regulation, purchased at a uniform stockist. NB – Trousers may not be tailored to be made narrower.

Trousers plain navy blue trousers (purchased from our suppliers) can be worn as an alternative. Blouse - fitted blouse in pale blue, with an embroidered school badge on the collar, and are designed to be worn outside the skirt or trousers. Our suppliers above are the only suppliers of this style, which does not show beneath the school jumper if worn. Blazer - navy blazer with the school badge must be worn at all times in school. Jumper (optional) - navy blue, long sleeved, V-necked sweater with the school badge may be worn under the blazer for extra warmth. Headscarf (optional) - some students choose to wear a headscarf, which must be plain navy. Headscarves must be securely tied especially for Science, and must be removed for P.E. lessons – a specialist sports head covering can be worn, please check with Xxxx Xxxxxxxx if there are concerns. Coat - plain navy or black (students should not wear denim). A navy fleece jacket available from suppliers is one option. Alternatively a plain navy or black coat or waterproof can be worn. School Bag - many students have a rucksack type bag which is easier to carry, but any style and colour is acceptable providing they are strong. They should be large enough to carry, on average, four exercise books and a textbook, pencil case and planner. Science and Art overall - of non-flammable material to cover the whole length of skirt and sleeves. The overall may be blue or green. Shoes and socks - Shoes must be plain black, brown or navy blue and the heel height should not exceed four centimetres. Shoes must give adequate support to cope with the movement around school and should be leather or leather effect and not canvas. Boots or ankle boots of any sort are not allowed. Socks or tights must be worn. Socks must be navy or black, ankle or knee length; tights must be plain flesh coloured, navy or black. In wet or snowy weather, outdoor footwear may need to be changed on arrival at school. No boots or trainers are to be worn around school.
