Tuition Costs. 1. The School Unit will pay for tuition costs up to but not exceeding an amount equal to the University of Maine at Orono undergraduate tuition rate. Employees may take courses from any institution of higher education, including technical schools, or from any agency approved by the Department of Education. The School Unit will pay for up to nine (9) undergraduate credit hours per contract year. All courses must be related to the employee’s job and approved in advance by the Superintendent or designee.
