UNION/INDUSTRY ADVANCEMENT FUND. The Teamsters Advancement Fund shall be for the enhancement of all persons dependent upon any industry represented by the Teamsters. Effective January the Employer shall make contributions of five cents per hour for which wages are payable hereunder, for each employee covered by this Collective Agreement. Payment of said funds shall be made to the appropriate Teamsters Local Advancement Fund by the fifteenth (15th) of the month following that to which they refer. This payment will be independent and separate from any other payment made to the appropriate Locals.

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN: MARPOLE TRANSPORT LIMITED AND: TEAMSTERS LOCAL UNION NO. 31 The Parties hereto agree to the following: The Company will guarantee eight (8) units in Vancouver, ten (10) on Vancouver Island, one (1) additional unit by December, 2005 in Vancouver, and one (1) additional unit in the year 2006. The one additional truck may be moved into areas as needed when there is a lack of work in Vancouver. On termination, retirement or quitting, said driver will be replaced on that truck. Payment of said funds shall be made to the Teamsters Local Union/Industry Advancement Fund by the fifteenth (15th) of the month following that to which they refer. This payment will be independent and separate from any other payment made to the Local Union. These funds assist in the administration of the Local Union.
