Union Orientation Meeting. A representative of the Union shall be given an opportunity to orient each new employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes during the first month of employment for the purpose of acquainting the new employee with the benefits and duties of Union membership and the responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union.

Union Orientation Meeting. The Hospital will notify the Bargaining Unit President (BUP) or designate of each new hire and the nurse’s start date. The Bargaining Unit President or designate may schedule thirty (30) minutes with the new hire at a time that is convenient to the BUP and Nurse at any time during the probationary period. The usual notification for union meetings need not apply to this article.

Union Orientation Meeting. Within seven (7) business days of his/her initial employment by the Company, a new employee will be introduced to a Representative of the Union by his/her supervisor for the purposes of permitting the Representative to provide the employee with information about the Union.   • Union Meetings The Employer recognizes the Union's interest in keeping its members informed and aware of its activities through regular union meetings. The Employer may approve the use of the agency facilities to hold union meetings. Union meetings, including general and/or committee(s) meetings, held on employer premises will not interfere with the operation of the Employer.

  • Union Orientation During orientation of newly hired Nurses, the Employer will allow up to thirty (30) minutes for a representative of the Local Union to speak with the newly hired Nurses.
