Vacation and Sick Leave Accrual. A faculty member returning in a post-retirement position, will begin the position with zero leave accruals (sick and/or vacation). The faculty member will accrue as follows:
Vacation and Sick Leave Accrual. Employees will accrue vacation and sick leave during the first twenty-six (26) weeks of a workers’ compensation leave. After the initial twenty-six (26) week period there shall be no further accrual of vacation and sick leave until the employee is able to return to full duty.

However, an employee who is a National Guard member on active duty as described in item #3 War or Other Emergency, in the section entitled "Salary/ Compensation" above, shall not suffer any loss or diminution of vacation or holiday privileges because of his/her leave of absence.

Vacation and Sick Leave Accrual. A pilot will retain but not accrue vacation and sick leave while on maternity leave unless the pilot is being paid sick leave or vacation. A pilot will be paid for vacation scheduled to be taken during maternity leave.

  • Sick Leave Accrual All eligible employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per pay period of continuous employment beginning with their date of eligibility. Eligible employees being paid for less than a full eighty (80) hour pay period shall have sick leave accruals pro-rated in accord with the schedule set forth in Appendix D.
