Vacation Pay on Termination or Retirement. An Employee who terminates at any time in the vacation year before having taken vacation, shall be paid out for all vacation credits earned and not yet taken. Employees formerly under collective agreements that provided for enhanced vacation pay upon termination or retirement are addressed in Letter of Understanding #3.

(c) Subject to operational requirements, the President shall grant the employee their vacation at the time requested by them under Clause 22.05.

b) An Employee terminating employment who has used vacation credits prior to actual entitlement shall be liable to the Employer for such vacation credits owed. Such liability will be deducted from the Employee’s last pay cheque. The Employer shall provide the Employee with a full written account of such liability prior to the deduction.
