Selection of Vacation Dates. (a) Employees in consultation with their supervisor shall determine the method of selecting available vacation dates. Where no method is available or agreed upon, in the case of conflict seniority shall apply in the first instance and then on a rotating basis. Vacation dates shall be arranged between April 1 and May 1. The Employer shall endeavour to post and confirm the vacation schedule as soon as all employees have submitted their requests for annual leave. In any event the vacation schedule shall be confirmed and posted not later than June 1st of each year and shall not be changed unless mutually agreed upon by the Employer and the employee or except in the case of unforeseen circumstances.

  • Splitting of Vacation Periods ‌ Annual vacation for employees with 10 days’ vacation or more shall be granted in one continuous period but may, upon request from the employee, be divided, subject to the approval of the Employer, provided that the following shall apply:

  • Vacation Accrual Rates Laid off employees who are re-employed shall have the vacation accrual rate they held immediately prior to layoff restored.

  • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits 31.1.1 An employee shall earn in respect of each fiscal year, annual vacation leave with pay at the following rates for each calendar month in which the employee receives at least seventy-five (75) hours’ pay:

  • Reinstatement of Vacation Days - Sick Leave In the event an employee is sick or injured prior to the commencement of his/her vacation, such employee shall be granted sick leave and the vacation period so displaced shall be added to the vacation period if requested by the employee and by mutual agreement, or shall be reinstated for use at a later date.
