Vacation Vacation Accrual. Vacation accrual will be on a per pay period basis beginning at date of hire as a regular employee. Full time employees accrue vacation in accordance with the following schedule: Up to 2 years 16 working days 4.92 hours 2 years through 7 years 21 working days 6.46 hours Over 7 years 26 working days 8.00 hours Part‐time employees vacation accrual rates are prorated based on their normal work schedule. An employee may elect to convert any amount of vacation accrual to sick leave accrual as of June 30th each year Vacation requests will be approved based upon consideration of efficient operations of the Dis‐ trict. Vacation periods of qualified employees will be set with regard for the wishes and seniority of the employee and a reasonable effort will be made to accommodate each employee’s request for the use of vacation time. Any disputes will be resolved by the General Manager who has the exclusive authority to make decisions regarding scheduling of vacation.

Vacation Vacation Accrual. Management’s present practices with regard to vacations will be continued during the term of this MOU. Such practices shall be in accordance with Sections 4.244-4.256 of the LAAC. Each employee in this unit who has completed the employee’s qualifying year shall be entitled to the following number of vacation days with full pay, based on the number of years of City service completed, accrued and credited at the rates indicated, subject to deductions for absences as provided in Section 4.246 of the LAAC: Benefits for part-time employees will be subject to Article 6.1 of this MOU.

Vacation Vacation Accrual. In determining a nurse's choice of vacation period, Institutional Seniority within the nursing unit shall govern unless otherwise agreed by the nurse concerned. In the event of a conflict in choice of vacation period, institutional seniority within a nursing unit shall prevail with respect only to vacation requests entered by a nurse within the time limit set out on the posted vacation list.

  • Vacation Accrual Regular employees shall accrue hours of vacation with pay for each hour of compensation to a maximum of eighty (80) hours per biweekly work period according to the following schedule, commencing with the employee's hire date of his latest period of County employment.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Vacation Accrual Rates Laid off employees who are re-employed shall have the vacation accrual rate they held immediately prior to layoff restored.

  • Sick Leave Accrual All eligible employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per pay period of continuous employment beginning with their date of eligibility. Eligible employees being paid for less than a full eighty (80) hour pay period shall have sick leave accruals pro-rated in accord with the schedule set forth in Appendix D.

  • Vacation Period ‌ The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.

  • Vacation During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • Vacation Payout Where an employee requests in writing to have a specific number of vacation days paid out, and the Employer agrees to the request, the Employer will issue pay in lieu of vacation.
