Holidays and Leaves. 7.1 Holiday Eligibility To be eligible for holiday benefits, a UAF Local 1324 Unit Member must be benefits eligible and must be in pay status the last scheduled workday before the holiday and the first scheduled workday after the holiday.

Holidays and Leaves. The Employee will be granted or accrue holidays, vacation, sick leave and other leave as provided in Chapter 2.35 EMC and City policy. This includes twenty-two (22) days of vacation, twenty-four (24) hours of management leave, and ninety-six (96) hours of holiday leave per year, and eight (8) hours of sick leave per month. In addition, the Employee will be granted a bank of ten days (80 hours) of vacation leave and five days (40 hours) of sick leave at the beginning of her employment. The Employee will be eligible to use vacation and sick leave banks at the start of her employment. The Employee will thereafter accrue vacation and sick leave as provided in Chapter 2.35

Short-term workers or student interns may not receive a floating holiday.
