Vaccination Leave. Each year, employees may request a total of two (2) hours of vaccination leave for the purpose of obtaining a flu or COVID-19 vaccination or booster. To receive Vaccination Leave, employees must provide Human Resources the following:

Vaccination Leave. An Employee is entitled to two (2) days of paid vaccination leave for any absence resulting from illness or adverse side effects after receiving a vaccination required by the Employer, in particular for influenza or COVID-19. Prior to providing this leave, the Employer may require evidence from the Employee, in accordance with Clause 7.2.3 above.
Vaccination Leave. 54.1 Except where the Employer arranges for a vaccination to be made available at the workplace, all Employees (including casual employees) will be entitled to an authorised absence during paid time to receive a vaccination, of up to one day per dose;
Vaccination Leave. When necessary to attend a COVID-19 vaccination appointment during work hours, employees may access the 10 days of paid EPSL leave for such appointments without any loss of income. Such EPSL leave may also be used when employees are unable to return to work due to the temporary adverse side effects, if any, of such vaccination.

  • Education Leave (a) If required by the Employer, an employee shall be entitled to leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority and benefits to write examinations to upgrade his or her employment qualifications.

  • Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave An Employee who is expecting the birth or adoption of a child shall be entitled to maternity/paternity/adoption leave without pay, provided she presents a medical certificate confirming the probable date of confinement, or in the case of adoption, gives the Employer notice of eligibility. Except in extenuating circumstances, the notice shall be submitted in writing at least twenty-eight (28) days in advance of the leave and shall specify the probable date of commencement and the anticipated length of leave.
