Vendor Conduct. This list is not inclusive of all situations. The Market Manager reserves the right to take action on any and all activities conducted by Vendors that may be contrary to the public interest, interfere with the operation of Eastern Market, or are unprofessional. Infractions include, but are not limited to, the following rules: • All Vendors must represent their business and the market in a professional and courteous manner. • Sound levels from individual stalls shall not interfere with any other Vendor’s ability to conduct business or cause complaints from customers or other Vendors to the Market Manager. • Children under eighteen (18) years of age must be supervised at all times. • Vendors must contact the on-site weekend Market Manager if any issues or disputes with fellow Vendors arise. • Vendors should not attempt to approach customers who are suspected of theft; Vendors should immediately call 911. The 911 call will be dispatched to the nearest police officer, often a member of DGS Protective Services Police Division. • Vendors must obey all laws, codes, and regulations, including the fire code. • Vendors shall not aggressively solicit or call to customers as they pass by. • Vendors shall not cause or permit objectionable odors to emanate or be dispelled from the Vendor’s space or truck. • Vendors must sell their product from their vending space and cannot walk around Eastern Market distributing leaflets or otherwise attempting to solicit business. • All trained service animals are welcome at Eastern Market. Vendor-owned pets are not allowed under the Xxxxxx’x Line Shed (due to the presence of food). Vendor pets that cause a disturbance of any kind are not allowed at Eastern Market. (Please note that per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Vendor Conduct. 1. Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations that apply to them. Vendors are solely responsible for their own compliance with such laws and regulations. 2. Vendors must comply with the Product Rules, below. 3. Vendor Conduct a. Sexual harassment of employees of the Vendor or employees or students of Owner by employees of the Vendor is strictly forbidden. Any employee of the Vendor who is found to have engaged in such conduct shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary action by the Vendor, including dismissal. b. The Vendor shall be responsible to the Owner for acts and omissions of the Vendor's employees, subcontractors and their agents and employees, and other persons or entities performing portions of the Work for or on behalf of the Vendor or any of its subcontractors. Vendor shall require all workers, whether Vendor's own forces or the forces of Vendor's subcontractors, while on Owner's property, to refrain from committing any criminal conduct, using tobacco products, possessing or drinking alcoholic beverages, possessing or using illegal drugs or any controlled substance, carrying weapons, speaking profane and/or offensive language, or engaging in any inappropriate interactions of any nature whatsoever with students and teachers, including talking, touching, staring or otherwise contributing to a hostile or offensive environment for Owner's students and staff. All areas of campus shall be off limits to Vendor's forces, unless their work assignment specifies otherwise. Vendor Conduct. AEL is committed to acting responsibly in all business dealings to ensure compliance with applicable national and international legislation, including laws regarding anti-corruption, anti- trust, anti-bribery, fair competition, and human rights. The Vendor should have a communicated process for their personnel to be able to raise any concerns without fear of retaliation • Vendors must ensure safe working conditions and a healthy work environment for their workers, including but not limited to: • Controlled exposure to potential safety hazardsEmergency preparedness, including the necessary equipment, training, alerts, and plans needed to minimize harm to life, the environment, and property • Processes and systems and a Health & Safety program in place to manage, track and report occupational injury and illness • Identification, evaluation, and control of workers' exposure to chemical, biological or physical agents, and provide protective equipment where necessary • Evaluation of machinery and equipment for safety hazards • AEL shall pay the Vendor for the Goods and Services at the agreed price outlined in the P.O. according to the submission of a valid, detailed invoice presented in the currency outlined in the P.O., subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. • AEL reserves the right to inspect the Goods and Services and reject them in part or entirely if they do not meet the service levels and the specifications, and request a replacement, reprocess, or credit at Vendor's cost, including transport, and to dispute or reject any associated invoice in part or entirely. • AEL will monitor and review Vendor Quality, Turntimes, On-Time Delivery, and other critical elements regularly. Vendor Conduct. Vendors shall conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner. Any conduct deemed inappropriate by the Presenter may result in expulsion from the Festival.
Vendor Conduct. Vendor agrees that the event is designed for the display, sale and demonstration of Wedding products and services. Vendor shall not unreasonably loiter in areas other than their leased Booth. Vendor shall not pass out literature in areas other than their leased Booth. Vendors shall keep their volume at a level that will not distract other Vendors. Vendors shall not behave disorderly, advertise anything illegal and shall obey all rules and regulations established by the Pechanga Casino Management, and all laws, regulations, ordinances, union contracts, restrictions, and by laws of the event facility and each governmental jurisdiction in which the event is located. Vendor Conduct. 1. Vendors must comply with all laws and regulations that apply to them. 2. Vendors must comply with the Product Rules. 3. Vendors may not sell any products or goods at the Purdue Market that include or embody any Purdue trademark, service mark, trade name or other Purdue intellectual property unless properly licensed. 4. Season Vendors who are scheduled to vend at the Farmers Market at Purdue on Thursdays must let the Market Master or GLC know if they will not be attending on a particular Thursday by no later than the preceding Tuesday at 5 pm. 5. Vendors must set up their own displays on each day they offer goods for sale at the Market. Vendors must be present while their goods are offered for sale. Vendors may not share their assigned space with others without the consent of GLC, but they may assign persons to assist them. Vendors retain full and exclusive responsibility for their Market space(s), for their sales, and for the actions of their assistants. 6. Vendors must clearly label each product to show which Approved Category the product falls. Vendors must clear label all products (other than concessions) that were not produced by the Vendor, specifying the product's place of origin. The price of all items must be clearly indicated. The Market Master may require Vendors who fail to provide adequate labeling to correct the failure. 7. Vendors who are cooking on-site must keep a fire extinguisher that is always visible and accessible. Grills used for cooking at the Purdue Market are subject to inspection by the Purdue University Safety and Security Department and are to be located as directed by the Market Master. 8. Vendors who are preparing food on-site at the Purdue Market must provide a hand washing station. 9. Vendors selling any article by weight or measure at the Market must contact Tippecanoe County Weights and Measures (765/423-9794) to arrange for their scales to be inspected. All scales must be certified and approved for commercial sales prior to vending at the Market. 10. Vendors must dress appropriately, including shoes and shirts. 11. Vendors must maintain their space(s) in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, including protecting the pavement from oil or fuel drips from any part of the Vendor’s vehicle. Vendors must haul away all trash or garbage that is generated in or around their booths and must sweep up and remove all debris on the ground. Vendor Conduct. The Nashville Blooming Festival Committee expects vendors to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with visitors of the festival, fellow vendors and festival organizers. Aggressive and inappropri- ate conduct will be addressed by the Blooming Festival Committee and Nashville Police Department if necessary. Vendors failing to modify their conduct will be asked to shut down and may only return at the end of the festival to pack belongings.
