VOLUNTEER ROLE. We expect you to perform your role to the best of your ability and to follow our procedures and standards, including health and safety and equal opportunities, and to comply with all our policies and procedures. Details of our policies are found in our Staff Handbook and are available on request from our Human Resources Department. For ease of reference, we have summarised the key policies from the Staff Handbook for you and is included with this letter. In return for your volunteering, we will provide you training (where required), insurance and deal with you in accordance with our equal opportunities policy.
VOLUNTEER ROLE. I understand that as a volunteer I am not an employee of CLCF and will not receive compensation for my donated services. I also understand that most of my donated services will be provided in an outdoor environment that may be or could become dangerous or hazardous. I attest and verify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to provide the services and that, if appropriate, my physical fitness to participate as a volunteer has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I agree to assume the risk of and be totally responsible for my own personal safety, conduct, and well-being.
VOLUNTEER ROLE. Volunteering within the Diocese gives the opportunity to be part of a team within the Synodal Process, supporting the Church in its valuable work, whilst providing new skills and development opportunities. Your role as a volunteer is to provide the services at Schedule 1 of this agreement, whose volunteering does not involve supervisory contact with children and adults who may be vulnerable. It is important to know that whatever the capacity of your volunteer role, we all have a safeguarding duty to report any concerns you have. This could be reported to your supervisor, Parish Priest or the Hallam Pastoral Centre Safeguarding Office on 01142566454. We expect you to perform your role to the best of your ability and to follow our procedures and policies other than those which are solely for those in employment. We require a volunteer to always be treated in a way which is fair and with respect.
VOLUNTEER ROLE. You have agreed to volunteer as an Actor for the above production and to be available during the following filming periods: [11-4-18 & 12-4-18] [Xxxx Xxxxxx] will notify you of suggested times and dates for when you may be required, however it is your and [Xxxx Xxxxxx]’s joint responsibility to agree when you may participate in the Production. In the event that you no longer wish to participate in the Production as a volunteer, or if you are unable to volunteer when expected, please notify [Xxxx] as soon as possible. By entering into this Agreement, we tryst that you will perform your role to the best of your ability, and agree to follow our procedures and standards, including health and safety and equal opportunities. You can also expect us to deal with you in accordance with our Equal Opportunities Policy.
VOLUNTEER ROLE. I have voluntarily agreed to serve as a volunteer for Adventure Bags. All the work I do is on a volunteer basis, and I am not eligible to receive any payment or monetary reward. I understand that I may only participate in volunteer activities authorized by Adventure Bags, as directed by a shift supervisor or other authorized representative of Adventure Bags. Any additional activities that I want to perform on behalf of Adventure Bags must be approved by an authorized representative before I participate in the activities.
VOLUNTEER ROLE. Your role as volunteer is as a Conference Director or Track Chair or Speaker i.e., a Scientific Contributor, at one of our events which will start on the date you that you start to engage with the event and includes attending the event. We hope that you will usually be able to volunteer with us for at least the entire duration of the event so that we and you can each get the most from the volunteering experience. However, we are flexible about this so please let us know if you would prefer a different arrangement. As a Scientific Contributor, we expect you to: • perform your role to the best of your ability and to follow our procedures and standards, including health and safety and equal opportunities; • speak and contribute to talks in our programmes during the event; • comply with our Data Protection Policy and any other applicable policy in our Staff Handbook, which will be made available to you upon request; • comply with our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy when communicating with our delegates/attendees; • ensure any content you prepare is appropriate i.e. scientific or technology based rather than commercial, tailored to our audience and the theme of the event (see a description of our audience here) and provide a copy for our review upon request; • actively engage with delegates/attendees at any event you are a Scientific Contributor at; • comply with our Attendee Terms and Conditions at the event you attend; • make best effort to provide information requested to meet marketing timelines; • if possible, share the news of your attendance with your networks using marketings assets provided by ELRIG, as well as pre-releasing content that you will present, having photographs taken, recordings made and posting on social media. You do have the option to opt out of these requests if you would like; You can expect us to deal with you in accordance with our Equal Opportunities Policy, found within ELRIG’s Employee Handbook.
VOLUNTEER ROLE. Your role as a volunteer is as a Local Archivist and will start when you initially log in. We hope that you will be able to volunteer with us throughout the duration of this project (which we expect will be ongoing until December 2019) so that we can each get the most from the volunteering experience. However, since you can undertake your volunteering from your home or any other location where you have computer access the arrangements are very flexible; you can decide how much reviewing/editing you would like to be involved with, and the days and times when you do this. We do expect you to perform your role to the best of your ability and to follow our procedures and standards, including health and safety and equal opportunities and to have read and understood our privacy policy. You can expect us to deal with you in accordance with our equal opportunities policy. Details of these and other relevant policies will be available on the Local Recall volunteer page or will have already been sent to you when you first expressed interest in volunteering. We will provide an induction pack explaining more about the Local Recall project and how volunteers will play a role and fit within it. We will also provide training if needed to help you meet the standards we expect from volunteers, and to ensure your health and safety. It is possible that you may find an article containing potentially offensive or sensitive content. This could reflect the nature of the story, or the journalism or language of the time. Should you encounter this then please feel free to ‘flag’ any such article to send it back to the project team for further action and review. Please give Xxxxxxxxx Xxxx as much notice as possible if you are going to be unavailable to volunteer for a period of time or decide no longer to volunteer. We hope that you will usually be able to volunteer with us for at least the entire duration of any of our events so that we can each get the most from the volunteering experience. As a Drug Discovery Support Volunteer, we expect you to: • perform your role to the best of your ability and to follow our procedures and standards, including health and safety and equal opportunities; • comply with our Data Protection Policy and any other applicable policy in our Staff Handbook, which will be made available to you upon request; • comply with our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy when communicating with fellow volunteers or anyone associated with ELRIG UK Limited; • actively engage in any events you are invited to; You can expect us to deal with you in accordance with our Equal Opportunities Policy.
VOLUNTEER ROLE. A service volunteer at CANTON PARK DISTRICT is a volunteer position. This means that, if you accept the role, you perform all duties on a voluntary basis and you will not receive remuneration or payment for your work. CANTON PARK DISTRICT does not intend for this agreement to create an employment or contractual relationship (i.e. you are not an employee, independent contractor or consultant at CANTON PARK DISTRICT). If there is a possibility that you might undertake paid work, CANTON PARK DISTRICT will discuss this arrangement with you separately, document the arrangement in writing, and you will receive and acknowledge the receipt and understanding of the CANTON PARK DISTRICT employee handbook rather than this Volunteer Agreement.
VOLUNTEER ROLE. Your duties as a Volunteer Xxxxxxx are set out in the volunteer role description provided to you by your voluntary body. You will be notified of available volunteer shifts in advance, and where you have committed to undertaking a particular volunteer shift, it is important that you notify your voluntary body as soon as possible if, for any reason, you become unable to perform that shift. You are expected to perform your role to the best of your ability and to follow the procedures and standards, including health and safety, infection prevention and control and equal opportunities in place with the Lead Provider, and any other procedures operated by the vaccination site to which you are deployed as are notified to you as part of your orientation with the vaccination site provider. You will comply with our data protection policy and patient confidentiality policies and procedures as notified to you on your initial on-boarding with us as the Lead Provider. You acknowledge that as the Lead Provider we will process certain information about you, including information shared by your voluntary body.
