Weekend and Public Holiday Work. ‌ An Employee required to work a weekend or public holiday will be provided with at least four hours’ work or be paid for four hours at the rate applicable under this agreement.

Weekend and Public Holiday Work. An employee may agree to work their ordinary hours on a weekend and where this is the case, overtime rates shall not apply. Where the employer requires that work be performed on weekends or on a Public Holiday, or in excess of 38 hours in that week, the overtime rates at 4.2 will apply to either cash payment or to ATO.
Weekend and Public Holiday Work. In accordance with clause 2(e), the duty employee for each roster may choose the following work options for weekend and public holidays: • Not attend work or, • Attend for 2 hours to carry out maintenance work at the Riverside treatment plant Should the duty employee be called to an emergency while at work on these days, the emergency situation will take precedence and is to be attended as soon as possible, with other duties completed at the employee’s discretion. Emergencies are not classed as a callout if reported while at work, however overtime rates will apply for time spent attending the emergency. No other employee is to be called in to complete the duties usually carried out on these days. Unless otherwise advised or agreed, it is assumed that the duty employee is at work from 7.00am each Saturday, Sunday or public holiday and will work for 2 hours on each of these days. Should the duty employee choose not to work on these days an emergency call to work will be treated as a callout provided the employee has advised the supervisor that he will not be attending work prior to receiving the emergency call. Similarly if an employee has advised the supervisor that he intends to work for 2 hours on these days, emergencies received outside of the time at work will be treated as a callout.
Weekend and Public Holiday Work. (a) Where an Employee works on a Saturday, the Employee will be paid at the rate of time and a half for the first hour and a half and double time thereafter. Where an Employee’s Ordinary Hours are structured to include work on a Saturday as part of their Continuous Roster, all Ordinary Hours worked on a Saturday will be paid at the rate of double time.

The provisions of 26.4 and 26.7 hereof shall apply in respect of work on a holiday. An Employee required to work on a holiday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the appropriate rate. Overtime work for day workers on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half for the first two hours and double time thereafter, provided that all overtime worked after 12 noon on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of double time. An Employee required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least three hours work or paid for three hours at the appropriate rate All work performed on the Saturday following Good Friday shall be paid for at the rate of double time and a half. An Employee required to work on the Saturday following Good Friday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the appropriate rate. All time worked on Sundays shall be paid for at the rate of double time. An Employee required to work overtime on a Sunday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the appropriate rate.
Weekend and Public Holiday Work. A minimum of three hours' work for the first call out and a minimum payment of one hour for any subsequent call out.

  • GENERAL HOLIDAYS 13.01 The following days shall be recognized and considered as paid general holidays: New Year's Day Labour Day Xxxxx Xxxx Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Xxxxx Xxx Day and any other day or portion of a day designated as a paid holiday by the Civic, Provincial or Federal Government.

  • Sunday Work Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.
