WORK PROJECTS. 1. The Union recognizes and agrees that from time to time during the term of this Agreement there will be work projects conducted within the College by students who will not be members of the Union. These projects must be separately and specifically funded by government, foundation, and partnership grants and shall not be deemed part of the affairs or operations of the College to which this Agreement applies. 2. For the purposes of this article, "work projects" shall mean: (i) jobs of a fixed-term not regularly performed by employees in the bargaining unit, or (ii) fixed-term research and data collection projects, or (iii) students assisting students (excluding Interpreter Services).

WORK PROJECTS. For the information of the Brotherhood, the Company will, at least once a year, furnish and discuss a list of all contemplated work projects as they specifically apply to Local Union 97, IBEW which are of sufficient magnitude to have an appreciable effect on labor requirements; but the Company in its uncontrolled discretion reserves the right to modify, expand or cancel any such projects at any time.

WORK PROJECTS. Persons hired to perform work that would not normally be performed, as a result of Federal or Provincial 'Work Projects' shall not be considered employees for the purpose of this Agreement. Persons hired on these projects shall become members of Local 569 for each project and shall have a separate contract on an individual project basis. The Employer shall not undertake any project that would result in a reduction of the workforce or in the continued layoff of members of the Bargaining Unit unless otherwise agreed. No employee in the Bargaining Unit shall be required to work on any project unless mutually agreed.

  • Work Progress The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner will keep each other, and NYISO, advised periodically as to the progress of their respective design, procurement and construction efforts. Any Party may, at any time, request a progress report from the Developer or Connecting Transmission Owner. If, at any time, the Developer determines that the completion of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities will not be required until after the specified In-Service Date, the Developer will provide written notice to the Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO of such later date upon which the completion of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities will be required.

  • Creative Work The Executive agrees that all creative work and work product, including but not limited to all technology, business management tools, processes, software, patents, trademarks, and copyrights developed by the Executive during the term of this Agreement, regardless of when or where such work or work product was produced, constitutes work made for hire, all rights of which are owned by the Employer. The Executive hereby assigns to the Employer all rights, title, and interest, whether by way of copyrights, trade secret, trademark, patent, or otherwise, in all such work or work product, regardless of whether the same is subject to protection by patent, trademark, or copyright laws.

  • Annual Work Plans and Budgets The Recipient shall furnish to the Association as soon as available, but in any case not later than September 1 of each year, the annual work plan and budget for the Project for each subsequent year of Project implementation, of such scope and detail as the Association shall have reasonably requested, except for the annual work plan and budget for the Project for the first year of Project implementation, which shall be furnished no later than one (1) month after the Effective Date.

  • Joint Work Product This Agreement is the joint work product of H-GAC and the Contractor. This Agreement has been negotiated by H-GAC and the Contractor and their respective counsel and shall be fairly interpreted in accordance with its terms and, in the event of any ambiguities, no inferences shall be drawn against any party.

  • WORK PRODUCT/PRE-EXISTING WORK PRODUCT OF CONTRACTOR Any and all work product resulting from this Contract is commissioned by the County of Marin as a work for hire. The County of Marin shall be considered, for all purposes, the author of the work product and shall have all rights of authorship to the work, including, but not limited to, the exclusive right to use, publish, reproduce, copy and make derivative use of, the work product or otherwise grant others limited rights to use the work product. To the extent Contractor incorporates into the work product any pre-existing work product owned by Contractor, Contractor hereby acknowledges and agrees that ownership of such work product shall be transferred to the County of Marin.
