Xxxxxx Care Leave. (a) When a xxxxxx child is placed in the home of an employee who is an approved xxxxxx care provider, the employee shall be granted, upon her request, leave without loss of regular pay within seven (7) calendar days after the placement of the xxxxxx child.
(b) An employee may use leave under 20.18(a) up to a maximum of two (2) regular working days within one (1) school year. Such leave shall be granted on the basis of half or full regular working days.
(c) Within fourteen (14) calendar days after taking leave under 20.18(a), the employee will provide the School District with confirmation in writing of the date of the xxxxxx child’s placement from the appropriate provincial agency.
Xxxxxx Care Leave. Paid leave of up to five (5) days shall be granted for bonding with a child who has recently joined the teacher’s household through xxxxxx care placement. In the event of multiple xxxxxx placements occurring, no more than ten (10) days shall be granted to an individual employee during a twelve (12) month period.
Xxxxxx Care Leave. If you are full time or part time, Xxxxxx Care Leave is available when you become a long-term xxxxxx carer. You can access up to 10 days leave from your accrued Personal Leave balance and the leave can commence from the day that you take the xxxxxx child into long-term care.
Xxxxxx Care Leave. 1. Any teacher who is a xxxxxx parent shall have the option to utilize up to thirty (30) days, if available, from their accumulated Leave Day Bank.
2. Xxxxxx Care Leave is to be used once unless permission has been granted by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
Xxxxxx Care Leave. Sick leave may also be used for the acceptance of a child in need of xxxxxx care. To be granted paid sick leave for the acceptance of a child in need of xxxxxx care, the educator may be required to provide evidence that the formal xxxxxx care process is underway. Such sick leave is limited to six (6) weeks. Paid sick leave for the acceptance of a child in need of xxxxxx care need not be used consecutively once the formal xxxxxx care process is underway. Such sick leave may be used for the formal xxxxxx care process prior to taking custody of the child or accepting the child in need of xxxxxx care, in addition to using such sick leave upon taking custody of the child or accepting the child in need of xxxxxx care.
Xxxxxx Care Leave. (1) A confirmed staff shall be granted up to an aggregate of 3 working days of paid family care leave per calendar year to spend time with their family members.
(2) For the purpose of this clause, “family members” are defined as children below 18 years old, spouse, parents, parents-in-law, siblings and grandparents. Staff who are above 62 years old on post retirement contract are eligible to claim family care leave for their grandchildren.
(3) Under the Children Development Co-Savings Act (CDCA), a staff with children below 7 years old would be entitled to 6 working days of Child Care Leave per calendar year. The first 3 days shall be employer-paid, while the next 3 days shall be government-paid. While the 3 days employer-paid Child Care Leave is subsumed under Family Care Leave, the 3 days government- paid Child Care Leave shall fall under the Enhanced Child Care Leave benefit elaborated below.
(4) To qualify for the 3 days of Government-paid Enhanced Child Care Leave, the staff must satisfy these conditions set out under the Children Development Co-Savings Act:
(a) the staff must have at least 3 months’ continuous service;
(b) the staff must be lawfully married;
(c) the child must be below 7 years old;
(d) the child must be Singapore citizen.
Xxxxxx Care Leave. An Employee, with a period of service as per the Maternity Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Xxx 0000, is entitled to 16 weeks paid Xxxxxx Care Leave for the purposes of the long term fostering of a child. 301. Xxxxxx Care Leave is available from one week prior to the date of placement of a child who has not previously lived with the Employee for a continuous period of six months or more and should commence within eight weeks of the child being placed.
Xxxxxx Care Leave. Members shall be permitted to use up to five (5) total days of paid sick leave to manage and attend to the needs of providing xxxxxx care to a child. The member must seek pre-approval by building administration and shall produce a court or other agency order to corroborate the child’s placement.
Xxxxxx Care Leave. Purpose: An employee may, upon request, be granted a leave for the adoption of a child.
Xxxxxx Care Leave. Purpose: An employee may, upon request, be granted a leave for the adoption or xxxxxx care of a child.
Subd. 1. Request: Under normal circumstances, an employee making application for adoption leave will inform Human Resources in writing of intention to take the leave at least three calendar months before commencement of the intended leave. In the event that notice needs to be given less than three months before the intended leave, notice will be given in writing to Human Resources as soon as date is known. The notice provided to Human Resources must include documentation confirming the circumstance.
