Accruing annual leave. Supervisors shall accrue annual leave based on the actual number of work- ing hours in a calendar year. The supervisor begins to accrue working hours that carry an entitlement to annual leave after two months of employment (known as the qualifying period).
Accruing annual leave. Employees shall be entitled to combined vacation, personal, business and religious holiday leave of 20 days annually and shall be entitled to one additional day for each completed year of continuous service in the Unified Court System up to a maximum of 27 workdays annually. Employees are entitled to accrue annual leave from their initial date of hire. An employee shall not earn annual leave credit for any biweekly pay period unless he/she is in full pay status for at least seven workdays during such biweekly pay period. Annual leave shall be credited on a biweekly basis.
Accruing annual leave. All employees other than casual employees are entitled to accrue an amount of paid annual leave on a prorata basis for all hours worked up to and including 76 hours per fortnight averaged over 12 months excluding overtime. The accrual will be fortnightly and is cumulative. The company may direct an employee to take at least 25% of their accrued annual leave should they have accumulated in excess of 10 weeks. Employees are required to complete an annual leave form no later than 4 weeks prior to their intended commencement of annual leave. Leave forms submitted at less than 4 weeks notice may be authorised at the company’s discretion

  • Taking Annual Leave (1) An employee may, on application approved by the Secretary, take annual leave in either of the following ways:

  • Additional Annual Leave (a) Shift Worker as defined by the Act An employee is entitled to accrue an additional amount of paid annual leave, for each completed 12 month period of continuous service with the employer, of 1/52 of the number of ordinary hours worked by the employee, for the employer, as a Shift Worker as defined by the Act during that 12 month period.
