AND LOCKOUTS. During the term of this Agreement the Company agrees that there shall be no lockouts and the Union agrees that there shall be no strike, or any other stoppage of or interference with work, which would cause any interruption of work.

Where an employee expresses a concern for his or her safety in attempting to cross a picket-line or any demonstrations on or at the Client’s premises, the Division will ensure a safe access to the workplace. No employee will be disciplined if he or she refuses to cross a picket line or demonstration out of concern for his or her safety. If employees are prevented from performing their duties because of a strike or lockout, the employees shall report the matter to the Division, and the Division will make every reasonable effort to ensure that such employees are employed elsewhere.
