Attendance is mandatory. The session days are generally held the second Wednesday of each month, from September to May. This may vary depending on school schedules. Full attendance by each participant is essential if the Leadership High School Program is to meet its objectives. The Program Manager will provide the complete schedule for the program year at the openingreception to students and their parents. Please do not schedule appointments during these session days. If you are unable to attend for any reason, give prior notice (no later than 24 hours before) to your school’s Leadership High School Coordinator AND the Program Manager at the Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. If you miss more than one scheduled session day without prior notice and adequate justification,you will be removed from the program. Attendance is mandatory. The Oregon Department of Transportation - Transportation Safety Division will authorize a certificate of completion only to those individuals who successfully complete the minimum 30 hours of classroom instruction and 12 hours of in-car training (6-hours of driving and 6-hours of supervised observation). Therefore, students must attend a full 30 hours of classroom and 12 hours of in-car sessions. In addition, students must earn a passing score of 80% on classroom exams, demonstrate mastery of safe driving skills and behaviors in the car, exhibit a positive attitude at all times, and demonstrate the ability to be present and on time for every class and in-car lesson. Any individual who does not successfully complete these stated requirements will not receive a certificate of completion. Oregon Administrative Rule 737-015-0030 5(d) requires that you provide a minimum of 5 hours of supervised home practice for your teen prior to the completion of this course. It further requires that practice be documented, in the form of a log or other means, demonstrating to the provider that the requirement has been met. You must submit your practice record prior to receiving a certificate of completion. Please initial your agreement here The Department of Motor Vehicles requires new teen drivers who complete a driver education course to have at least 50 hours of supervised practice before they are eligible to apply for a Provisional License. The Oregon Parent Guide to Teen Driving includes a driving log to keep track of the time you spend practicing. It also contains information and tips you’ll find helpful as you guide your teen through this program. The Oregon Attorney General has recently revised the reimbursement rules for Traffic Safety Education providers. As a result, Approved Providers will not receive state reimbursement for a student who obtains their license prior to course completion. Any student who registers for this course and obtains their license prior to completing the course (both classroom and behind-the- wheel) will be assessed an additional $210.   • ATTENDANCE AT MANDATORY MEETINGS/SCHOOL EVENTS Where an employee is required through clear direction by the board to attend work outside of regular working hours, the provisions of the local collective agreement regarding hours of work and compensation, including any relevant overtime/lieu time provisions, shall apply. Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.

  • Attendance Incentive It is the desire of both the Employer and the Union to provide consistent quality bus service for all students.   • Conference Attendance Effective October 1, 1996, unit employees shall be entitled to up to four (4) days administrative leave of absence within any two consecutive fiscal years subject to the following conditions:

  • Attendance Policy In order to maximize learning opportunities, attendance is expected at all college and clinical sessions. Campus laboratory classes are usually demonstrations of essential nursing skills. There is no effective way to “make-up” missed laboratory classes, therefore the instructor may require attendance. For all clinical absences, the student must call the clinical setting a minimum of 30 minutes before the scheduled beginning time of the clinical session that will be missed and leave a message for the appropriate instructor. Any exception to this rule will be noted in writing in the individual course syllabus and green sheet. Students who miss more than 10% of the clinical days in a course may not be able to meet course objectives. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the appropriate instructor to determine “make- up” assignments for all absences. If a student has excess absences as defined in a particular course, the student’s status may be reviewed by the nursing faculty. The student may not be able to satisfactorily meet course objectives and may earn a failing grade.

  • Attendance Bonus Employees are eligible for an attendance bonus when every shift is satisfactorily worked throughout the monthly schedule period and no changes are requested in the schedule by the employee except for trading shifts as provided for in Article 13.4.4 or utilizing unpaid union leave. To qualify, a minimum of 130 compensated hours must have been worked during the qualifying period. The bonus will be an additional twenty-five ($0.25) per hour on only the hours worked in the qualifying period.
