BENEFIT PLANS and SICK LEAVE a) All full-time regular employees and part-time regular employees regularly scheduled to work sixty (60) or more hours per month shall become entitled to coverage under a Benefit Program listed under this Section on the first day of the month following starting date of employment. For the purpose of coverage of common-law spouses the Parties must have lived together under the same roof for a term of one (1) year or as otherwise established by Carrier requirement or law. Employees must notify the Employer when the common-law arrangement is terminated. Part-time employees qualifying for benefits as outlined in this Section will not receive the ten (10%) percent premium paid in lieu of benefits.

BENEFIT PLANS and SICK LEAVE i) All full-time and part-time regular employees regularly scheduled to work sixty (60) hours per month or more shall become entitled to coverage for: • Medical • Dental • Extended Health, and • Employee and Family Assistance Program All full-time and part-time regular employees regularly scheduled to work an average of fourteen (14) hours per week (which would mean sixty (60) hours per month or one hundred and eighty-two (182) hours per quarter) or more shall become entitled to coverage for: • Basic Life InsuranceOptional Life Insurance, and • Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance All full-time and part-time regular employees regularly scheduled to work a minimum of fourteen (14) hours per week or more shall become entitled to coverage for: • Short Term, and • Long Term Disability If you do not maintain the minimum required work hours, you will not be eligible for disability benefits. The above benefits to be administered by BC Credit Union Employee Benefits Trust, or equivalent. (Details of the Plans are contained in brochures provided by the Employer). ii) For the purpose of coverage of common-law spouses, the partners must have lived together for a term of one (1) year. Where any marital relationship is terminated, where they are no longer living together, the spouse is no longer an eligible dependant and coverage must be cancelled.

Employees must notify the Employer if the common-law arrangement is terminated. b) Benefits Program - Details of the benefits plans as referred to in Paragraph (a) are contained in brochures provided by the employer. - Medical Services Plan of British Columbia - Extended Health Care with Eye Glass Option - Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance - coverage to $200,000. - Group Life - Maximum coverage $500,000 (under 55 years of age, coverage is 3 x annual salary, 55 - 69 years of age 2 x annual salary). - Dental Care Option III - Part I - 75%, Part II - 75%, Part III - 75%, Part IV - 50%, $2,000 maximum. - Salary Insurance - The amount of benefit is equal to sixty-six and two-third's (66 2/3) of the Employee's regular salary as reported to Common Carrier. The benefit commences after the first two (2) weeks of disability. c) The premium costs for all above Plans except Salary Insurance shall be fully paid by the Employer for all Employees. Salary Insurance shall be fully paid by all Employees. d) Regular part-time employees who have completed their probationary period but work less than sixty (60) hours per month will receive five point two (5.2%) percent of wages in lieu of benefits. e) Casuals are not entitled to the benefits plan. Section 2 Pension Plan a) Regular full-time employees shall be covered under the Employer’s RRSP Pension Plan on completion of one (1) year of service. Regular full-time employees shall receive RRSP Pension Plan coverage based upon gross earnings in subsequent years at a rate of eight (8%) percent for the years up to completion of fifteen (15) years of service and nine (9%) percent thereafter. b) Regular part-time employees shall be covered under the Employer’s RRSP Pension Plan on completion of 1,820 hours of service. For purposes of calculating hours of service, vacation entitlement and statutory holiday entitlement will be included.
