OVERTIME REGULATIONS. Overtime is defined and regulated as follows: a. Except as provided herein, overtime is defined as any assigned and scheduled work time in excess of: 1) the basic work week, as defined in Article 8, Section B; or 2) any other work day schedule agreed to by a Department Head and affected employees that is approved by the City Manager. The City shall not be required to pay overtime compensation more than once for any single period of time worked. Overtime shall be compensated to the one-quarter hour. b. Overtime must be authorized in advance by the Department Head and approved by the City Manager, or his/her designated representative. c. Authorized call back overtime shall be a minimum of two (2) hours. Call back duty requires the employee to respond to a request to return to his/her work station after they have left the normal work station or prior to the beginning of their next scheduled shift. Those periods of overtime which had been scheduled by the Department Head prior to the end of the normal scheduled work shift are not considered call back (call out) duty.
OVERTIME REGULATIONS. 18.01 Authorized overtime will be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times an employee’s regular rate for all time worked in excess of forty-four (44) hours per week.
OVERTIME REGULATIONS. 4.01 The Employer agrees to respect and observe all regulations governing the posting and cancellation of overtime as have been adopted by the Union and as are in effect on the date of execution of this agreement. OVERTIME REGULATIONS. DAILY BASIS‌ 23.01 Employees shall, with exceptions, receive for hours of work in excess of eight (8) hours of work daily, overtime pay at the rate of time and one half their hourly rate for hours of work. 23.02 Servers shall complete service on guest notwithstanding the fact that the employee has reached his or her quitting time, and such additional time in excess of eight (8) hours shall be paid at the employee’s regular rate for the first half hour after eight (8) hours and time and one half his or her regular rate for all time after eight and one half hours. 23.03 Each employee must obtain from his or her Department head authorization in writing in advance of his or her overtime work before overtime money will be paid. 23.04 Any work performed on the sixth (6th) or seventh (7th) consecutive day shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half (1 ½) of his or her regular hourly rate of pay. 23.05 It is agreed by the Parties that if an employee requests a change in his or her scheduled days off (as provided for under Seniority Clause) or requests to work on his/her scheduled days off to make up for a shortage of hours, which results in work being performed on a sixth (6th) or seventh (7th) day, the Employer shall not be required to pay overtime rates to honour this request.
OVERTIME REGULATIONS. ‌ 29.01 All hours worked in excess of eight hours (8) in the day or forty (40) hours in any one (1) week shall be paid for, at the rate of time and one-half. This provision applies to labour disputes involving third parties, where employees are required by the Employer to remain on-site beyond their normal working hours as a result of such labour dispute. 29.02 a) Hours worked on the sixth (6th) consecutive shift shall be cumulative to the maximum of forty (40) hours. All hours worked in excess of the cumulative total of forty (40) hours shall be paid at the overtime rate of time and one-half (X1 ½).

OVERTIME REGULATIONS a) Employees other than Facilities General Operators, Caretakers, Municipal Law Enforcement Officers, Animal Services and Theatre General Operators personnel shall be paid an overtime premium at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times regular rates for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day or ten (10) hours per day, dependent upon the shift arrangement, and for all time worked on Sundays. Overtime at time and one-half (1 1/2) will be paid for hours worked on the sixth (6th) consecutive day in the employee's workweek. b) Facilities General Operators shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times regular rates for all authorized hours worked in excess of one hundred and sixty (160) hours over a four (4) week period, forty-four (44) in a week or on Sundays. Failure to provide at least twelve (12) hours rest between shifts which are being changed shall result in payment of overtime at one and one-half (1 1/2) times regular rates for all hours worked on that shift. c) Caretakers, Municipal Law Enforcement Officers and Animal Services personnel shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times (1 1/2) the regular rate for all authorized hours worked in excess of one hundred and sixty (160) hours in each four (4) week period (i.e., over two (2) pay periods) or on Sundays. d) Theatre General Operators, shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times regular rates for all authorized hours worked in excess of eighty (80) hours over a two (2) week period, forty-four (44) in a week or on Sundays. Failure to provide at least twelve (12) hours rest between shifts which are being changed shall result in payment of overtime at one and one-half (1 1/2) times regular rates for all hours worked on that shift. e) Property Services Attendants (SMS468) shall be paid an overtime premium at the rate of one and one half times (1 ½) the regular rate for all authorized hours worked in excess of eighty (80) hours in a two (2) week period, forty-four hours (44) in a week. OVERTIME REGULATIONS. Overtime will be offered to qualified employees (qualified to be defined as fully qualified and not requiring any training or familiarisation) as equitably as possible in the following manner with the exception that when overtime of two and one-half (2 1/2) hours or less follows on from a normal shift, it shall normally be performed by the employees doing the work during the shift. It is understood that any employee may refuse to work provided another qualified employee, by order of seniority, is available to perform the necessary work.
