Check-In and Check. Out Responsibilities: Upon moving into the residence, the resident is responsible for compliance with all check-in procedures. During the check-in period, the resident will sign a completed Room Inventory Form (RIF) indicating the condition of the residence at the time that resident moves in. If the resident fails to complete all check-in procedures, including but not limited to timely signature of the RIF then the resident will be billed a $75.00 improper check-in fee. Within Ten (10) days after receipt of University’s notice, the resident must pay the improper check-in fee. The resident shall jointly maintain in a clean, safe, sanitary and good condition the residence and the areas directly in front of the residence with the other resident(s) who are assigned to that unit. The resident shall complete all check out procedures. The resident shall leave the residence in a clean and orderly condition upon termination of residency. Upon checkout, and not before, the resident will sign the original RIF indicating the original room condition. Any discrepancies between the check-in and checkout conditions may results in charges to the resident. The resident may request a pre-inspection with University professional staff (not the Resident Advisors or other paraprofessional staff) prior to check out, but no earlier than two weeks prior to check out, to assess possible damage fees; the final inspection will be assessed after move-out. If the resident fails to complete all check-out procedures, then the resident will be billed a $75.00 improper check- out fee. Within Ten (10) days after receipt of University’s notice, the resident must pay the improper check-out fee. The resident shall pay all charges resulting from cleaning of and/or damage to the residence. If the resident moves out of their residence, then they must remove their belongings from the residence within 72 hours of the checkout date. If the resident fails to remove its belongings from the residence within 72 hours, then the resident’s belongings will be removed by the University (to be stored and disposed of as permitted by applicable laws) and the resident will be charged for damages including, but not limited to, re-keying of the residence and the improper check-out fee.

Check-In and Check. OUT—Upon moving into your assigned room, you should complete a Room Condition Report (RCR), which will be an accurate and complete record of the contents and condition of your room. When vacating the room, you must check out with a Department of Residential Education and Housing staff member, by returning your room key. The Check-Out Record, Room Condition Report Record, plus a room inspection by your Residential Education and Housing staff member, will serve as the basis for check-out charges.
Check-In and Check. OUT 8.10.1 Specific check-in information will be provided to all Resident students via the Residential Life website (xxxxx://xxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx). A resident planning to check-in after the stated arrival period, must notify Residential Life prior to the stated check-in time. 8.10.2 Each Resident is given a room key or card access to the apartment/room, and electronic card access to the building through their ID card or a key to the outside/foyer door. Residents may receive additional keys within specific areas of campus, such as mailbox keys. Residents who lose their room or mailbox key, or fail to return keys upon vacating the room, will be charged accordingly. Keys cannot be returned through the mail. 8.10.3 Residents who fail to follow proper check out instructions upon vacating that room forfeit the opportunity to contest room damage charges. Residents will be billed for any keys not returned at a rate of $100 per door and $15 per mail key. 8.10.4 Residents granted a contract release/cancellation must follow check-out procedures and must remove all belongings. Failure to do so may result in a reduction of refund if one is due or may result in additional housing charges. 8.10.5 Residents forfeit any and all rights to any items left in the residence facilities at the end of the contract term, or when a student is no longer assigned to the space. All items will, at the University’s sole discretion, be reused, donated or discarded. Any such items are deemed to NOT be “Abandoned Property” under Chapter 32 or “Lost and Unclaimed Property” under Chapter 859 of the Connecticut General Statutes. In the event a resident leaves his or her room in such a condition that it requires the attention of cleaning and/or facilities staff, a cleaning and/or repair fee may be assessed to the resident.
Check-In and Check out 17.1 Check-in and check-out times for the Holiday Accommodation will be advised on the Booking Confirmation.
Check-In and Check out Procedures. University housing staff will communicate check-in and check-out procedures to Mayo Student and Mayo Group Sponsor. Included in these procedures will be the successful completion of a Room Inventory Form within 24 hours of occupancy by Mayo Student, for the purposes of documenting all existing damages. University housing staff, or their representative, will inspect the Apartment after Mayo Student vacates the Apartment to determine if any damage has occurred during the Summer Season, normal wear and tear and damage from the elements excepted.

Any costs associated with damage will be assessed by the cooperative residence officer and may be charged to your Bursar account. b. When checking out, you must remove all refuse and discarded material and leave your room/house as clean as when you checked in. Charges for additional cleaning required, removal of personal property, and for any loss or damage you have caused will be billed to your bursar account. c. You must check out of your room by the closing time specified by the Housing & Dining Contracts Office for the end of each semester. A fee of $38 per hour will be assessed for every hour or fraction thereof that you remain in your room past the closing time unless a written request for exception has been received and approved by the cooperative residence officer. d. Check-out is not completed until your room/apartment is vacated and all keys are turned in.
Check-In and Check out: A resident is considered checked-in when they obtain the room/suite key. When moving into the assigned room/suite, the resident shall complete, sign and turn in a Residence Life Room/Suite Inventory Form. When vacating the assigned room/suite, the resident must check-out with the Hall Director or their designee. The Residence Life Room/Suite Inventory Form and an inspection by an appointed Residence Life staff serves as the basis for check-out charges, if assessed. Each resident agrees to follow the proper check-out procedures when vacating the premises or relocating within the system. This includes, but is not limited to, removing personally owned furniture and equipment, removing all waste and debris, and leaving the room/suite in the same condition as when accepted, reasonable wear and tear accepted. The resident is responsible for cleaning. Maintenance or repair required to return premises to the same condition as when accepted is accomplished by University appointed personnel and is billed accordingly.

Check-In and Check. Out a. Resident agrees to follow all Check-In, Check-Out, and cancellation processes set forth in this Contract. b. Check-in must be between 3:00pm – 10:00pm unless other arrangements have been approved by SHC staff. c. Resident must follow the Check-Out procedures and return all SHC-issued keys upon Check-Out no later than 10:00am on their scheduled check-out date. SHC will charge Residents who do not follow Check-Out procedures up to $100 for a lock change/key replacement fee. d. Items left in rooms or common areas following Check-Out or any Contract cancellation will immediately be considered abandoned property. Abandoned items will be thrown away, resold, or donated at the University’s discretion.

You must give thirty (30) days notice to the Housing & Dining Contracts Office, 206 Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx Community Center, to vacate your room. You must complete all check-out procedures. If you fail to give thirty (30) days notice, additional charges may apply. When checking out, you must remove all refuse and discarded material and leave your apartment in the same condition and working order as when you checked in. Charges for additional cleaning required, removal of personal property, and for any loss or damage you have caused will be added to your bursar account. c. You must check out, return keys, and completely vacate your apartment by the official closing time of the final day of your contract period. Charges will be assessed for every hour or fraction thereof that you or members of your group or any of your personal property, remains in the apartment past the closing time unless a written request for exception has been received and approved by the residence manager. d. Check-out is not completed until the apartment is completely vacated and all keys are turned in.
Check-In and Check out times. The Accommodation (unless otherwise stated above) shall be available for occupation from 5.00pm on the date of Check-in and must be vacated by 10.00am on the date of Check-out. These are strict times and additional charges will be applied where you arrive at the Accommodation early or check out of the Accommodation late.
