CLASSIFICATIONS / JOB DESCRIPTIONS. 19.01 (a) The Company shall draw up job descriptions for all classifications in the Bargaining Unit. Job descriptions shall contain the job title, qualifications, a general statement of duties and responsibilities, the wage level of the job and the date prepared.
CLASSIFICATIONS / JOB DESCRIPTIONS. The City agrees to provide job classifications and job descriptions to the Union upon request from the Union President or designee. Major changes made in job classification or job descriptions must be negotiated with the Union. An employee shall not be worked out of their classification and replaced with an employee with less seniority within their classification. Seniority shall prevail when an employee works out of their classification in open positions only.

CLASSIFICATIONS / JOB DESCRIPTIONS. CLASSIFICATIONS DESCRIPTIONS I Mechanic/Garage Manager • Responsible for the overall operation of the garage and maintenance of buses. • On call 24 hours for bus breakdowns and garage alarm trips for garage and compound areas. • Responsible for: • Keeping files and records of repairs and maintenance of buses; • dealing with vendor's prices, warranties; • ordering parts for inventory and for replacement; • budget analysis; • checking all invoices for pricing, parts received, and billing; • line work up for mechanic(s); • keeping gas and fuel pump working and full; • setting up waste oil pickups with DEQ regulations; • scheduling buses for warranty work; • getting shop up to OSHA/NIOSH standards - clean up, safety; • bus repair: Certify Master Auto and Heavy Trucks; • deciding whether a bus is out of service, buses to be sold; • keeping supervisor informed on condition of buses; • other duties as assigned. II Mechanic A person responsible for the upkeep of the buses. III Regular Drivers One who drives a bus or school vehicle used to transport students and/or their necessary supplies and/or equipment. Or one who drives a bus or school vehicle used to transport only Special Education students and/or their necessary supplies and/or equipment. Special Education drivers shall not be allowed to take or substitute on regular runs of less than three (3) months, kindergarten runs, late runs, field trips, RCTC, or any run or runs normally driven by a regular bus driver if it interferes with the Special Education driver's regularly scheduled run. No driver shall be allowed to select runs and/or trips which would equal more than forty (40) hours of work per week.
CLASSIFICATIONS / JOB DESCRIPTIONS. Classifications or job descriptions for all positions for which the Union is the bargaining unit shall be prepared by the Town to be reviewed with the Union and any changes shall similarly be reviewed with the Union. New job descriptions or changes made to a current job description by the Town that add additional duties or tasks that change the qualifications shall be reviewed with the Union. How these changes affect the rates of pay or hours of work shall be through consultation with the Union. Copies of the job descriptions shall be made available to the Union. When the Town desires to include a classification or job description not presently included in this Agreement, the rate for the classification shall be negotiated with the Union prior to a vacancy being posted.
CLASSIFICATIONS / JOB DESCRIPTIONS. Current job descriptions included in this agreement are not intended as, nor should they be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, effort, or working conditions associated with the job description. The City reserves the right to amend as needed with acceptance by the appropriate xxxxxxx plus one more. Positions are Exclusive of part-time, casual and seasonal service employees and only those that are full time and currently employed.

  • Job Descriptions The Employer agrees to supply each employee with a copy of their current job description. The Union and the Bargaining Unit Chair will be provided copies of all job descriptions in the bargaining unit.

  • Classifications 32.1 The Classification levels for Employees engaged under this agreement shall be read in accordance with the Award unless specifically amended by the terms of this Agreement. Classification levels, relativities, pay rates and other details are contained in APPENDIX 1. 32.2 An Employee not already engaged as CW4 (marker/setter) shall be paid an all-purpose allowance of 5% of his/her applicable hourly rate when performing this work. 32.3 Where any Employee on any day performs two or more classes of work to which different rates of pay are applicable, the Employee shall be paid at the higher hourly rate for the day if the Employee is required to work at that class of work for two (2) hours or more, and if for less than two (2) hours during any one (1) day the Employee will be paid the higher rate for the time so worked. 32.4 Where an Employee is elected by Employees of the Employer as a HSR and agrees to undertake the required training to fulfil the role, the Employee will be classified as the higher of CW4, or the Employee's usual classification. In addition, a HSR is entitled to an all-purpose hourly allowance for the life of this agreement as per the table at Appendix 2 – Health and Safety Representatives Allowance. (a) For clarity, an Employee is only entitled to one all-purpose hourly allowance pursuant to clauses 32.4 and 32.5.

  • New Job Classifications When a new classification (which is covered by the terms of this collective agreement) is established by the Hospital, the Hospital shall determine the rate of pay for such new classification and notify the local Union of the same. If the local Union challenges the rate, it shall have the right to request a meeting with the Hospital to endeavour to negotiate a mutually satisfactory rate. Such request will be made within ten (10) days after the receipt of notice from the Hospital of such new occupational classification and rate. Any change mutually agreed to resulting from such meeting shall be retroactive to the date that notice of the new rate was given by the Hospital. If the parties are unable to agree, the dispute concerning the new rate may be submitted to arbitration as provided in the agreement within fifteen (15) days of such meeting. The decision of the arbitrator (or board of arbitration as the case may be) shall be based on the relationship established by comparison with the rates for other classifications in the bargaining unit having regard to the requirements of such classification. When the Hospital makes a substantial change in the job content of an existing classification which in reality causes such classification to become a new classification, the Hospital agrees to meet with the Union if requested to permit the Union to make representation with respect to the appropriate rate of pay. If the matter is not resolved following the meeting with the Union, the matter may be referred to arbitration as provided in the agreement within fifteen (15) days of such meeting. The decision of the arbitrator (or board of arbitration as the case may be) shall be based on the relationship established by comparison with the rates for other classifications in the bargaining unit having regard to the requirements of such classifications. The parties further agree that any change mutually agreed to or awarded as a result of arbitration shall be retroactive only to the date that the Union raised the issue with the Hospital. The parties further agree that the above process as provided herein shall constitute the process for Pay Equity Maintenance as required by the Pay Equity Act.

  • JOB CLASSIFICATIONS 32.01 Employees holding positions which fall within the Bargaining Unit shall be provided with a job description upon written or email request. 32.02 New job classifications properly included in this Collective Agreement may be established by the Employer during the term of the Collective Agreement. Basic hourly rates of pay for such new job classifications shall be negotiated with the Union. If negotiations fail to produce an agreement within sixty (60) calendar days of the date of written notice from the Employer to the Union regarding the new job classification, then the basic hourly rates of pay may be settled through arbitration in accordance with clause 14.04(d).

  • Job Description The Employer agrees to draw up job descriptions for all positions for which the Union is bargaining agent. These descriptions shall be presented and discussed with the Union and shall become the recognized job descriptions unless the Union presents written objection within thirty (30) calendar days.

  • New Classifications If a new classification is created within the bargaining unit, the Employer agrees to meet with the Union and negotiate a rate of pay for this new classification.   • Service Descriptions Credit Card processing services: Global Direct’s actions to the appropriate card associations and/or issuers (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, Diners, Discover); settlement; dispute resolution with cardholders’ banks; and transaction-related reporting, statements and products. Debit/ATM Processing Services: Global Direct has connected to the following debit card networks (“Networks”): Accel, AFFN, Interlink, MAC, Maestro, NYCE, Pulse, Star, and Tyme. Global Direct will provide Merchant with the ability to access the Networks that Global Direct has connected to for the purpose of authorizing debit card transactions at the point of sale from cards issued by the members of the respective Networks. Global Direct will provide connection to such Networks, terminal applications, settlement and reporting activities. EBT Transaction Processing Services: Global Direct offers electronic interfaces to Electronic Benefits Transfer (“EBT”) networks for the processing of cash payments or credits to or for the benefit of benefit recipients (“Recipients”). Global Direct will provide settlement and switching services for various Point of Sale transactions initiated through Merchant for the authorization of the issuance of the United States Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Services (“FNS”) food stamp benefits (“FS Benefits”) and/or government delivered cash assistance benefits (“Cash Benefits, ”with FS Benefits, “Benefits”) to Recipients through the use of a state-issued card (“EBT Card”). With respect to Visa and MasterCard products, Merchant agrees to pay and Merchant's account(s) will be charged pursuant to Section 5 of this Agreement for any additional fees incurred as a result of Merchant's subsequent acceptance of transactions with any Visa or MasterCard product that it has not elected to accept.

  • Client Classification 7.1. We shall not have an obligation to treat our clients in different classes depending on their knowledge and expertise.

  • Position Descriptions Individual position descriptions shall be reduced to writing and delineate the duties currently assigned to an employee’s position. A dated copy of the position description shall be given to the employee upon assuming the position and when the position description is amended. The individual position description shall be subject to at least an annual review with the employee. Nothing contained herein shall compromise the right or the responsibility of the Agency to assign work consistent with the classification specification.
