Commissioning and Handover. Without limiting clause 8.9(a)(i)C or clause 13, the Contractor must: fully co-operate with any Commonwealth, State, Territory or local agencies or authorities and otherwise take all steps necessary to ensure: the timely, efficient and comprehensive commissioning of the Works; and the smooth handover of the Works to, and the initial occupation of the Works by, the occupants; without limiting paragraph (a): comply with its Commissioning and Handover Plan; and in consultation with the Contract Administrator, provide the Principal with such other specific assistance as may be required by the Contract Administrator to facilitate the timely, efficient and comprehensive commissioning of the Works and the smooth handover of the Works to the occupants, including providing the occupants with the required training to operate and maintain the Works (if required); as a condition precedent to Completion, hand to the Contract Administrator or other person nominated by the Contract Administrator all Project Documents which are required for the use, operation and maintenance of the Works or the relevant Section; and as and when reasonably required by the Contract Administrator, meet with the Contract Administrator and such other persons as are nominated by the Contract Administrator with a view to ensuring that the Principal and the nominated persons have sufficient information to enable the Principal or the nominated persons to: operate the Works; maintain the Works; or perform such other activities as may be required by the Principal in respect of the Works.

Commissioning and Handover. The Consultant must: ensure that the Design Documentation: complies with its Commissioning and Handover Plan; and provides such information as may be necessary to facilitate the timely, efficient and comprehensive commissioning of the Works and the smooth handover of the Works to the occupants; in consultation with the Contract Administrator, provide the Principal with such other specific assistance as may be required by the Contract Administrator to facilitate the timely, efficient and comprehensive commissioning of the Works and the smooth handover of the Works to the occupants, including providing the occupants with the required training to operate and maintain the Works (as applicable and if required); and as and when reasonably required by the Contract Administrator, meet with the Contract Administrator and such other persons as are nominated by the Contract Administrator with a view to ensuring that the Principal and the nominated other persons have sufficient information to enable the Principal or the nominated persons to: operate the Works; maintain the Works; or perform such other activities as may be required by the Principal in respect of the Works.
Commissioning and Handover. The system shall be test-run and the correct operation of all components checked. Sprinkler zones should be verified to conform to the approved plan. Once commissioning is complete, arrangement shall be made to demonstrate the system to representatives of the Council and/or the Engineer. Two operations manuals for the sprinklers, valves and fittings shall be provided to the Engineer and a laminated copy of the irrigation as-built plans is to be placed inside the control box. The plans should identify each station for ease of operation. The operations manual shall include: • Details of the process to follow in the event of a warranty claim. • The expiration date of the warranty for every item. • Make, model, size, specification, and date codes of all products. • Operation manuals or brochures on the valves and sprinklers. • Spare parts data. • Trouble shooting information. • Testing information. • Successful pressure test certification. • IQP certification of backflow preventer (if applicable). All of the above information is to be provided in a PVC 3-ring or 4-ring binder. All loose sheets are to be laminated. The name and address of the installing Contractor and that of the company supplying the product (if different) is to be included on the front page of the binder. The 'as-built' plan, operations manual and commissioning are required for practical completion. The Contractor is to complete and submit to the Engineer the Council’s ‘asset data information sheet’. During the 12 month installation warranty period, the contractor shall return and adjust all sprinklers to the correct height to grade after sand carpet and turf establishment. Pricing shall allow for one adjustment. This item includes the Contractor returning to the site as often as required (likely to be at least twice assuming they are at the correct level at commissioning) during the defects liability period to inspect and carry out the following: • Keep the sprinklers at their optimum level, orientation and arc adjustment. • Return valve boxes to their optimum level. • Raise the levels of any areas of subsidence in trenches, around valves, or sprinklers. • Ensure the correct operation of all valves and sprinklers. • Ensure the correct operation of the rain switch and flow switch (if applicable). When correcting subsidence greater than 200 mm on turfed areas, the turf must be lifted prior to adjustment.   • Commissioning Commissioning tests of the Interconnection Customer’s installed equipment shall be performed pursuant to applicable codes and standards. The ISO and Connecting Transmission Owner must be given at least five Business Days written notice, or as otherwise mutually agreed to by the Parties, of the tests and may be present to witness the commissioning tests.

  • Synchronization, Commissioning and Commercial Operation 4.1.1 The Power Producer shall give at least fifteen (15) days written notice to the SLDC / ALDC / DISCOM as the case may be, of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System. 4.1.2 Subject to Article 4.1.1, the Power Project may be synchronized by the Power Producer to the Grid System when it meets all the connection conditions prescribed in the Grid Code and otherwise meets all other Indian legal requirements for synchronization to the Grid System. 4.1.3 The synchronization equipment and all necessary arrangements / equipment including Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) for scheduling of power generated from the Project and transmission of data to the concerned authority as per applicable regulation shall be installed by the Power Producer at its generation facility of the Power Project at its own cost. The Power Producer shall synchronize its system with the Grid System only after the approval of GETCO / SLDC / ALDC and GEDA. 4.1.4 The Power Producer shall immediately after each synchronization / tripping of generator, inform the sub-station of the Grid System to which the Power Project is electrically connected in accordance with applicable Grid Code. 4.1.5 The Power Producer shall commission the Project within SCOD. 4.1.6 The Power Producer shall be required to obtain Developer and/ or Transfer Permission, Key Plan drawing etc, if required, from GEDA. In cases of conversion of land from Agricultural to Non-Agriculture, the commissioning shall be taken up by GEDA only upon submission of N.A. permission by the Power Producer. 4.1.7 The Power Producer shall be required to follow the Forecasting and Scheduling procedures as per the Regulations issued by Hon’ble GERC from time to time. It is to clarify that in terms of GERC (Forecasting, Scheduling, Deviation Settlement and Related Matters of Solar and Wind Generation Sources) Regulations, 2019 the procedures for Forecasting, Scheduling & Deviation Settlment are applicable to all solar generators having combined installed capacity above 1 MW connected to the State Grid / Substation including those connected via pooling stations.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision. The contracting agency may reserve training positions for persons who receive welfare assistance in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 140(a). c. The contractor will advise employees and applicants for employment of available training programs and entrance requirements for each. d. The contractor will periodically review the training and promotion potential of employees who are minorities and women and will encourage eligible employees to apply for such training and promotion.

  • Skidding and Yarding Methods of skid- ding or yarding specified for particular areas, if any, are indicated on Sale Area Map. Outside Clearcutting Units and construction clearings, insofar as ground conditions permit, products shall not be skidded against reserve trees or groups of reproduction and tractors shall be equipped with a winch to facilitate skidding. B6.421 Rigging. Insofar as practicable, needed rigging shall be slung on stumps or trees desig- nated for cutting.

  • Felling and Bucking Felling shall be done to minimize breakage of Included Timber and dam- age to residual timber. Unless agreed otherwise, felling shall be done by saws or shears. Bucking shall be done to permit removal of all minimum pieces set forth in A2. B6.411 Felling in Clearings. Insofar as ground conditions, tree lean, and shape of clearings per- mit, trees shall be felled so that their tops do not extend outside Clearcutting Units, construction clearings, and ar- eas of regeneration cutting. B6.000 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The xxxxx heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where xxxxx heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.

  • Ordering and Provisioning 53.3.1 CenturyLink will provide necessary ordering and provisioning business process support as well as those technical and systems interfaces as may be required to enable CLEC to provide resale services, including the functions, features, and capabilities of such services, and Unbundled Network Elements. If CenturyLink deploys any enhanced electronic capability CenturyLink will notify CLEC of availability and CLEC shall use the processes for performing transaction(s) to the extent practicable and the use of any other interface or process will be discontinued. 53.3.2 The Parties agree that orders for services under this Agreement will not be submitted or accepted until thirty (30) Days after the completion of all account establishment activities, including but not limited to, the documents and information subscribed in Section 45.1, unless the Parties mutually agree upon a different date based on the specific circumstances of the Parties’ relationship. 53.3.3 Except as specifically provided otherwise in this Agreement, pre- ordering, ordering and provisioning of resold services shall be governed in accordance with CenturyLink’s Standard Practices. 53.3.4 CenturyLink will provide provisioning intervals and procedures for design and complex services on a nondiscriminatory basis. Complex Service Order charges pursuant to Tariff terms may apply. 53.3.5 Where Technically Feasible, the NEAC will coordinate support for all designed and/or complex services provided to CLEC. 53.3.6 To the extent required by Applicable Law, and upon request from CLEC, employing CenturyLink’s LSR, CenturyLink will provide blocking of 700, 900, and 976 services, or other services of similar type as may now exist or be developed in the future, and shall provide Billed Number Screening (BNS), including required LIDB updates, or equivalent service for blocking completion of bill-to-third party and collect calls, on a line, PBX, or individual service basis. Blocking shall be provided to the extent (a) it is an available option for the Telecommunications Service resold by CLEC, or (b) it is Technically Feasible when requested by CLEC as a function of Unbundled Network Elements. 53.3.7 When ordering a resale service via an LSR Service Order, CLEC may order separate interLATA and IintraLATA service providers (i.e., two PICs) on a line or trunk basis, and CLEC agrees to pay the applicable Service Order and PIC charges associated with such order. CenturyLink will accept PIC change orders for IntraLATA toll and long distance services through the service provisioning process. 53.3.8 The standard Service Order charges as listed in the Table 1 of this Agreement shall apply to all orders.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • Handover 14.1 It is a fundamental requirement by SANParks that the transfer of the AENP Xxxx Braai Facility is undertaken on the basis that: 14.1.1 there is no or minimal disruption in the provision of goods and services to visitors to the Protected Area and includes use of vehicles for products on offer to visitors to the Protected Area; 14.1.2 any structural alterations do not cause the AENP Xxxx Braai Facility to be closed unless alternatives are provided (unless it was closed in any event); 14.1.3 the handover shall be undertaken in such a manner to cause the least disruption and/or intrusion to SANParks and employees and then only in a manner which is mutually acceptable to both SANParks and the Private Party; 14.1.4 the Business will be conducted in the usual manner throughout the Handover Period; and 14.1.5 SANParks shall not be liable for any claims or actions which arise during the Handover Period irrespective of the cause or nature of same. 14.2 During the Handover Period: 14.2.1 the Private Party and SANParks shall co-operate and work together to achieve an effective transfer of control and management of AENP Xxxx Braai Facility to the Private Party on the Operation Commencement Date; 14.2.2 the Private Party shall be entitled to nominate one or more representatives to be stationed at the AENP Xxxx Braai Facility , to work with SANParks management to effect a smooth handover. The Private Party’s representatives shall however have no authority in relation to SANParks operations or employees during the Handover Period. 14.3 On the Operation Commencement Date, the Private Party shall assume full responsibility under this PPP Agreement for the operations, and expenses thereof, relating to the AENP Xxxx Braai Facility , and be entitled to the fruits hereof.
