COMPENSATION DETAILS. Funding for this model is based upon three sources: New revenue (for the 2023-24 contract) is defined as revenue generated by Tuition Support, Special Education Grant, and Vocational Grant that is in excess of the funding from the 2022- 23 contract year for the same revenue sources. The net amount available for employee compensation resulting from these three funding sources is (accounting for teacher retirement and social security costs): $364,334 Using these three sources as a beginning point of negotiation, the BEA and the BOARD have agreed upon the following:
a) Salary Range for full-time classroom teachers (instructs students at least 50% of the workday) for 2023-24 (excluding current year increases): $44,500 to $78,890
b) General Eligibility
a. Employee must have a year of service (120 days or more) and
b. An evaluation rating of effective or highly effective
c. Except as provided in section 6.1(b)(d) of this contract, a teacher who received an evaluation rating of ineffective or improvement necessary in the prior school year is not eligible for any salary increase and remains at their prior year salary.
d. A teacher who is in the first two full school years of instructing students who receives an evaluation rating of improvement necessary is eligible for a salary increase
c) Base Salary Increases: $3,516 (per each full-time employee) will be added to the base salary. Employees less than full-time will receive a prorated base salary increase depending upon the percent of full-time they are employed. Each highly effective and effective teacher will receive their increase defined by this contract within thirty days after contract ratification and BOARD approval. This increase will be distributed through a single retroactive pay amount followed by an adjusted bi-weekly amount for the remainder of the contract.
d) Factors and Definitions
a. Evaluation rating – The teacher received a highly effective or effective evaluation rating for the prior year.
COMPENSATION DETAILS a. The faculty member shall be paid a part-time salary prorated on the basis of the full-time salary for the position in which he/she serves. He/she shall retain health benefits provided for by statute in the same manner as a full-time faculty. All other rights and benefits shall be provided in accordance with applicable statutes and/or District policies.
b. The District and the faculty member shall each contribute to the State Teachers' Retirement Fund the amount that would have been contributed if the faculty member were employed on a full-time basis. At least fifteen (15) working days prior to any period in which the faculty is not working at least half-time, a lump sum payment equal to the retirement contribution due for that period shall be remitted to the District. That amount and the District contribution shall be forwarded to the State Teachers' Retirement System.

The net amount available for employee compensation resulting from these three funding sources is (accounting for teacher retirement and social security costs): $294,382 Using these three sources as a beginning point of negotiation, the BEA and the BOARD have agreed upon the following:
a) Salary Range $36,500 to $68,000--not including current year increases or TRF contributions.
COMPENSATION DETAILS. Pest management companies in joint state associations receive a reduced NPMA membership rate • All costs incurred by the joint state association that are related to collecting and disbursing the annual dues to NPMA shall be borne solely by the joint state
COMPENSATION DETAILS. The range for full-time base teaching salaries for 2017-18 (including new to Bremen and returning staff members) is $34,000 to $70,000. Salaries for teachers new to Bremen will be determined based on data available and will be determined by the Superintendent utilizing the base salary calculation tool located in the Appendix B. COMPENSATION DETAILS. The affiliate will remit to NSPS an annual fee of $40 (forty dollars) for each Regular/Licensed Member whose legal residence is in the same state as that of the State Affiliate. All costs incurred by the Affiliate that are associated with collecting and disbursing the annual fee to NSPS shall be borne solely by the Affiliate.
COMPENSATION DETAILS. Cost Allocation and Ceilings The compensation schedule will contain the negotiated cost allocations for each individual task. The compensation schedule will be used to monitor cost expenditures and sets the fixed price that can be charged for work pursuant to the specified task.

a) Salaries for teachers new to Bremen will be determined based on data available and will be determined by the Superintendent utilizing the base salary calculation tool located in the Appendix B. This document places limitations on the Superintendent’s discretion for pay determination.
b) Beginning salary range $34,000 to $68,000 (carried over from 2017-2018), not including current year increases or TRF contributions.
c) Average and Gap:
a. The average of the minimum and maximum teacher salary = $51,000.
b. The gap between the minimum and average salaries = $17,000.
