Construction Layout. THE SEVENTH PARAGRAPH IS CHANGED TO: Provide the Utilities with the layout needed to install relocated utility facilities and coordinate the Work. Ensure that relocated facilities do not conflict with proposed construction, including High Voltage Proximity Act conflicts. THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED AFTER THE NINTH PARAGRAPH: For each bridge and sign structure within the Project Limits, provide the RE as-built measurements of the vertical under clearance at each lane line, shoulder line, curb line and edge of pavement line under a structure to the nearest inch. For each bridge structure, provide vertical under clearance measurements at each fascia beam.
Construction Layout. The Contractor will be responsible for the Construction Layout of the project under the direction of the Engineer. This work will be covered under Section 149 of the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation System, Current Edition. The Construction Layout shall include, but is not limited to grade staking, alignment staking, and right of way staking.
Construction Layout. If requested by the Owner, or other authorized party, as detailed in the scope of services or as an Additional Service to this Agreement, the PROFESSIONAL shall provide construction layout stakes sufficient for construction purposes. The stakes will reflect pertinent information from the construction bidding and contract documents. The stakes shall be set in place one time by the PROFESSIONAL, staged and scheduled as requested by the Contractor. After the stakes are set, it shall be the Contractor’s exclusive responsibility to protect the stakes from damage or removal. Once the stake is set, if the stake becomes unusable due to the Contractor’s negligence it shall be reset by the PROFESSIONAL, only at the Contractor’s direction. The cost for resetting the stakes shall be borne by the Contractor and shall be paid by the Owner or authorized representative of this Agreement to the PROFESSIONAL from monies due the Contractor from the construction contract. The Owner acknowledges and agrees that these staking requirements and the procedures and payments for restaking described in this section shall be stipulated in the General Conditions of the construction contract.
Construction Layout. Job Order Contractor shall lay out its Work in accordance with the Contract plans and specifications and shall be responsible for all measurements in connection with the layout of the Work. Job Order Contractor shall furnish, at its own expense, all stakes, templates, platforms, equipment, tools, materials and labor required to layout any part of the Work. Job Order Contractor shall also be responsible for maintaining and preserving all control points established by the City Representative.

Construction Layout. A. Verification: Before proceeding to lay out the Work, verify layout information shown on Drawings, in relation to the property survey and existing benchmarks and existing conditions. If discrepancies are discovered, notify Architect and Construction Manager promptly.
Construction Layout o Provide surveying services for the placement of the proposed improvements. Surveying stakes will be placed along the edge of the road at 25-foot intervals and include proposed grades for the contractor to build to.
Construction Layout. In addition to the conditions stipulated in the Niagara Peninsula Standard Contract Document, the following shall also apply. Included in the cost of this item: the checking of all grades and alignment, re-staking of layout due to destruction or removals; any additional layout within the intent of the contract for minor revisions to the road, sidewalk, water or sewer design etc.
Construction Layout. | Provide surveying layout services for the improvements reflected in the construction documents prepared by Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx and HAA. One set of line and grade stakes will be set for each improvement based on being staked one construction operation at a time and in an organized construction sequence. In the event that any staking is destroyed by an act of God or parties other than the surveyor, the cost of re-staking shall be paid by the Client as additional services. Construction Layout. The Contractor shall be responsible for the complete field layout of all works for the Contract and it shall be included in the lump sum price for this item. It is noted that construction works are to be referenced to the City’s benchmarks. The City of Mississauga horizontal coordinates are NAD 83, 6 degree, UTM, (1974 adjustment values) and the Benchmark values are related to the 1928 Canadian Geodetic Datum. The Contractor shall be responsible for the replacement, at the Contractor’s cost, of any survey monuments damaged, removed or rendered unusable through carelessness or malice during the construction of the works in this Contract. Monuments shall be replaced by an Ontario Land Surveyor acceptable to the City. The Contractor shall be responsible for the preservation of all property bars while the work is in progress, except those property bars that must be removed to facilitate the work. Any other property bars disturbed, damaged, or removed by the Contractor’s operations shall be replaced under the supervision of an Ontario Land Surveyor at the Contractor’s expense. The Contractor shall provide a full time grademan to layout and establish all lines and grades necessary for construction. The grademan will be required to confirm design elevations daily, and elevation points are to be recorded for use in comparing to the excavation surveys completed by a licensed survey company, as detailed in SP 34. The Contractor shall notify the Contract Administrator of any layout work carried out so that the Contract Administrator can check the layout. All work shall conform during its progress and on its completion, true to the lines, levels and grades shown on the Contract Drawings and shall be built and completed in a thoroughly professional manner in accordance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, subject to such modifications and additions as may be deemed necessary by the Contract Administrator during its execution. The Contractor shall inform the Contract Administrator of any issues with respect to the layout prior to construction. The Contract Administrator shall provide appropriate directions to address any discrepancies.
