Continuous Professional Development. 5.1 You are required to take part in continuing professional development in accordance with the College’s policy and which includes:
5.1.1 A requirement to undertake 30 hours of continuing professional development every year (pro-rata arrangements will apply for fractional and part-time hourly paid staff);
5.1.2 Agreeing such a programme of CPD with your line manager to accord with college, departmental and personal CPD requirements determined at staff appraisal / performance management and review.
5.1.3 Maintaining and providing a copy of the record of the CPD you have undertaken; including details of the provider and if applicable any associated registration.
5.2 CPD as outlined in 5.1 which meets the needs of the college will be delivered within the total contracted hours and not incur a cost for the employee. This will not apply when an employee and the college agree to CPD which involves a personal financial contribution and/or which takes place outside contracted hours.

Continuous Professional Development. High quality and continuous professional development is the fourth systems coaching domain; it is the umbrella over all MTSS coaching activities. The literature is clear that effective professional development should be job-‐embedded, evidence-‐based, and reflective (Learning Forward, 2011) where educators have the opportunity to collaborate and learn together. School and district leaders are responsible for building such capacity for effective professional development practices (King, 2011; Hall & Xxxx, 2011). In this distributive model, the MTSS leadership team members are tasked with providing ongoing professional development to their staff, matched to the needs of the staff, within a continuous improvement model. The MTSS leadership team is supported in this effort by those responsible for systems coaching within each particular setting. In turn, the leadership team develops a plan of action for implementing MTSS and works to incorporate it into their school/district improvement efforts annually. Professional development is a major mechanism for ensuring sustainability of what works and introducing more complex or needed improvements over time regarding staff knowledge and skills to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data-‐based decision making as well as instructional planning and evaluating of student success. Primary responsibility for guiding and monitoring implementation and sustainability of MTSS over time would be expected to fall on the leadership team. Continuous Professional Development. ○ Astrologers are encouraged to pursue continuous education in astrology, keeping abreast of evolving methods and practices to offer the most accurate and relevant insights to clients. ○ Participation in regular training and adherence to the latest ethical guidelines is a mandatory requirement to maintain profile status.
Continuous Professional Development. 16.1 NPT recognises the importance of the role of continual professional development of its staff as enhancing service delivery quality, patient care, and workplace relations.
16.2 NPT commits to providing five days per calendar year of facilitated Continuing Education Days (“CEDs”) covering areas such, for example, clinical enhancement/consolidation, manual handling, infection control and workplace relations.
16.3 CEDs will be delivered during usual work hours in the first instance.
16.4 Where it is not operationally viable to deliver CEDs during normal rostered hours, attending staff will be compensated at double the ordinary hourly rate for the duration of the CED with a minimum payment of four hours.
16.5 Annual skill recertification is not to be counted as a CED.

Doctors and practice nurses providing this service should undertake regular audit, participate in formal systematic annual appraisal on what they do and take part in regular relevant supportive educational activities. Clinicians should identify this activity within annual appraisal and address identified learning needs through an agreed Personal Development Plan. Practice Nurses should either hold a relevant diploma or be working towards such a qualification.

The Trainer agrees to participate in the QQI Trainers Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme offered by XXXXX.
