Discrimination Prohibition Clause Samples

Discrimination Prohibition. The provisions of this Agreement shall be applied equally to all employees in the bargaining unit without regard to an employee's age, sex, marital status, affectional preference and/or sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, race, color, creed, or religion, national origin, political affiliation, Veterans' Status, public assistance status or because of a physical or mental disability. Every employee shall have the right to a workplace free from discrimination.

Discrimination Prohibition. No employee will discriminate against or harass any other employee or any student based upon race, color, sex/gender (this also includes gender identity), sexual orientation, religious creed, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, political affiliation, or marital status.

Discrimination Prohibition. SCHOOL and UCLA agree not to discriminate in the selection or acceptance of any Student pursuant to this Agreement because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age, veteran's status, medical condition (cancer-related) as defined in section 12926 of the California Government Code, ancestry, marital status, or citizenship, within the limits imposed by law or University policy.

Discrimination Prohibition. The University shall not discriminate against any ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for his/her participation in union activities.

Discrimination Prohibition. An employee serving an original probationary period may be terminated without recourse under this Agreement, including terminations for not successfully passing the applicable background screens. This provision does not allow for terminations based on unlawful discrimination (race/ethnicity, color, sex, religion, age, disability, genetic information or national origin), nor does it limit any legal remedies such an employee may have outside of this Agreement.

Discrimination Prohibition. Professional represents and warrants that it and each of its employees, agents and contractors shall comply with all existing and future laws prohibiting discrimination against any employee, applicant for employment and/or other person in the subcontracting of work and/or in the performance of any Services contemplated by this Agreement with respect to hire, tenure, terms, conditions or privileges of employment or any matter directly or indirectly related to employment, subcontracting or work performance hereunder because of race, religion, color, sex, handicap, national origin, ancestry, age, disabled veteran status or Vietnam era veteran status. This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of this Agreement.

Discrimination Prohibition. SCHOOL and AFFILIATE agree not to discriminate in the selection or acceptance of any TRAINEE pursuant to this Agreement because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age, veteran’s status, medical condition (cancer-related) as defined in section 12926 of the California Government Code, ancestry, or marital status; or citizenship, within the limits imposed by law or SCHOOL policy.

Discrimination Prohibition. The School and County Fire agree not to discriminate in the selection or acceptance of any student pursuant to this Agreement because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age, veteran’s status, medical condition (cancer related) as defined in section 12926 of the California Government Code, ancestry, marital status, or citizenship, within the limits imposed by law or Program policy.
