EMS Training. A. The Division shall provide the necessary training to maintain state EMT certification for all members. This shall include, but not limited to, on and off company training and an internet based continuing education program. B. By October 1 of proceeding year the EMS coordinator will meet with the Medical Director to determine required training. C. The Division shall provide a minimum of four (4), off company, EMT CEU training sessions a year with a minimum of four (4) hours for each session. Each class will be offered twice and an employee may only be compensated once for each class. Members shall be compensated with overtime pay or comp time, at the employee’s choice, at the overtime rate, for the number of hours attended. These sessions shall be in additional to Pediatric Advanced Life and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, which will be offered when members are not assigned to company or normal work business within the Division, on alternate years.

EMS Training. Where a member is engaged in training in order to update and maintain his license of current qualification as an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic, the City will compensate them at their usual straight time rate for those hours which coincide with assigned work shifts. Training or travel time necessary for this training outside of the hours of the member’s assigned shift hours will be paid for at the appropriate overtime rate.
EMS Training. The Contractor shall provide training to installation environmental personnel in the implementation and management of the EMS and related programs. Training may include environmental aspects and impacts management, requirements and tasks associated with maintaining and improving an EMS, information management related to EMS document control and related data and process management, EMS assessments, and general EMS conformance training. The Contractor may also be required to provide EMS awareness training to installation personnel in accordance with ISO 14001, DoD or other Federal Agency requirements. The training may include classroom, digital media, or a combination of both. The training shall be tailored to the Federal Agency’s specific circumstances and requirements (e.g., their specific regulatory agency/s, installation/facility-specific permitted sources, etc.). The contractor shall develop the training curriculum in consultation the designated Federal Agency POC and submitted for approval by the Agency POC and USACE prior to the training event. The Contractor is responsible for providing all materials for the proper and timely training of Contractor personnel to perform their jobs in accordance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements. The location for training will be held at a government installation or facility at the USACE’s or customer’s discretion. The number of trainees per training session will vary per TO based on specific Agency requirements but will generally not exceed 40 attendees per session.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff. 3.3.5.2 The CONTRACTOR shall provide an initial orientation and training as well as ongoing training, including training targeted to different types of staff, to ensure compliance with this Agreement. Including targeted training regarding: 3.3.5.2.1 Care Coordination; 3.3.5.2.2 Nursing Facility Level of Care Determinations; 3.3.5.2.3 Setting of Care Submissions; 3.3.5.2.4 Community Benefit Services and Supplemental Questionnaire; and

  • Maintenance Training 16.8.1 The Seller will provide maintenance training for the Buyer’s ground personnel as further set forth in Appendix A to this Clause 16. The available courses will be as listed in the Seller’s Customer Services Catalog current at the time of the course. The practical training provided in the frame of maintenance training will be performed on the training devices in use in the Seller’s Training Centers.

  • Trainings Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • General Training 417. The City will use its best efforts to provide Local 21 represented employees with up to forty (40) hours of paid time off for job-related training and/or professional development, which shall include one day of professional development of an employee’s choice, not to be unreasonably denied. Such time may include departmental-sponsored training and/or professional development; DHR sponsored training and/or professional development; and/or outside training and/or professional development approved by appointing officer or designee. The foregoing includes but is not limited to mandatory continuing education and/or training requirements.
