EMT Differential. The former 3% EMT differential pay was rolled into base pay constituting the City’s incentive payment for EMT skills. In the event an employee’s EMT certification expires, the employee will be taken off the line and placed in an unpaid status until the employee can submit proof of EMT recertification.

EMT Differential. The former EMT differential of 3.0% was rolled into base pay. This one time conversion to base pay, shall constitute the City’s incentive payment for EMT skills. This conversion was cost neutral to the City.
EMT Differential. If an employee is qualified and is authorized in writing by the County to perform the duties of an EMT, then the employee shall be paid twenty-five cents ($.25) per hour in addition to their regular pay.
EMT Differential. Recognizing its duty to insure high quality medical care for the citizens of Leominster, the CITY agrees to pay a differential to those employees who are certified Emergency Medical Technicians under the laws of the Commonwealth, as follows: Such Employees not exceeding two (2) in number, assigned to regular tours of duty by the Chief to the so-called "first-run" ambulance, shall receive a differential in pay equal in amount to ten ($10.00) Dollars per shift of duty. On June 29, 1997 the EMT stipend shall revert back to the current EMT stipend after agreed- upon increases. On June 29, 1997, Article XII of the contract shall be amended to provide an across-the-board increase of $387.76 for firefighters certified as EMT’s obtaining certification in defibrillator utilization. The EMT-D stipend of an additional $387.76 shall be added on to a firefighter’s existing certification stipend of EMT, EMT/HMOC or EMT/HMTC. Nothing provided herein shall prevent an individual from holding and receiving an EMT stipend, without defibrillator certification. The differential is meant to be paid only for those tours actually worked, and the differential will not be paid for any leaves. In addition, if the differential is earned during "overtime" or "call-back" periods, the differential will only be added to the "overtime" or "call-back" pay otherwise due. The CITY reserves the right to compute and pay the differential compensation on a monthly basis.

  • Shift Differential The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

  • Night Differential Employees whose weekly work schedules consist of regularly scheduled night tours shall receive a night differential of ten percent (10%) of their Adjusted Rate. Employees who work fewer than five (5) night tours in a calendar week shall be paid a differential equal to one-fifth (1/5) of the night differential for each scheduled tour so worked.

Employees of mental health and correctional facilities shall be eligible for the second shift differential when their shift begins between 12:00 noon and 4:59 p.m.

  • Shift Differential Pay A. An employee shall receive additional compensation at the rate of seventy five cents (75¢) per hour for all hours worked on a shift when the majority of hours worked on the shift are between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. and in locations where these classes are regularly assigned shift work.

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.

  • Preceptor Differential The Hospital shall pay a differential of $1.50 per hour to a nurse who is designated by nursing management to serve as a preceptor to provide on-the-job training to newly hired nurses. One differential will be paid per shift per orientee to the primary preceptor for all hours served as the primary preceptor for that shift. Preceptor will only be paid while the newly hired nurse is in a one-to-one status. Preceptor is a voluntary assignment and the nurse has the option to refuse the preceptor assignment.
