EMT STIPEND. Effective January 1, 2002, all certified EMTs will receive a $500.00 stipend per year, not to be added to base salary.
EMT STIPEND. A. In addition to their weekly salary, all personnel shall be paid the following for maintaining Emergency Medical Technician Certificate. EMT-B shall receive $1,200 per year, which shall be made to the members in their weekly paychecks.
EMT STIPEND. There shall be an EMT stipend to each firefighter who has maintained his EMT certification for all or part of the then- ending fiscal year. EMT-Bs and paramedics shall receive the stipends listed below. Employees hired after January 1, 2000 shall maintain their EMT-B or paramedic certifications as a condition of employment. Employees hired prior to January 1, 2000 whose EMT-B or Paramedic certifications are suspended or terminated for any reason shall notify the Fire Chief immediately of the suspension or termination of said certification, and shall have the EMT-B or paramedic stipend terminated effective with the suspension or loss of said certification  EMT-B: There shall be an annual stipend of Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars.  EMT-PM: There shall be an annual EMT stipend of Eight Thousand ($8,500.00) Dollars. Such pay shall be included in base/annual salary in computing sick pay, holiday pay, vacation pay, injured on duty leave pay, overtime, and other compensable leave, and shall be deemed and is regular compensation for pension/retirement purposes and shall be part of their weekly compensation. Each firefighter who attains their paramedic certification shall be paid a one-time bonus of Three Thousand ($3,000.00) dollars in addition to the annual stipend. If an employee resigns from the Town within three (3) years of payment of said bonus, the employee shall pay back a pro-rated share of said bonus, based on the % of time employed for the three-year period. The Town may deduct said amount from all wages due to the employee upon separation.
EMT STIPEND. The annual stipend for an EMT certificate, which must be updated periodically, will be $200.00. An additional amount will be added to the employee’s base rate of pay when calculating overtime but is not included in any COLA increase.
EMT STIPEND. Section 1: An employee requiring EMT training will do so at such employee’s own expense and shall not receive overtime for classroom or field work necessary. The training budget referenced in Article XXIX above, however, may be utilized to cover the cost of books and test registration fees. Section 2: All new hires as of July 1, 1999 shall be certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) before appointment to the Fire Department. Section 3: When the Fire Department reaches the level of twenty-five (25) EMT’s, then in such event, the Union will be required and agrees to maintain twenty-five (25) EMT’s at all times. Senior employees may relinquish their certification as new hires or junior employees elevate the number above twenty-five (25). All members of the Fire Department who hold the EMT credential shall be entitled to receive the stipend. Section 1: ARTICLE XXXII
EMT STIPEND. Effective July 1, 2014, all new members of the bargaining unit will be are required to possess and maintain a valid state of Massachusetts Emergency Medical Technician certificate within twelve (12) months of employment with the City. Said new members shall also be required to maintain their EMT certification at the highest level that they have attained while in the employ of the City. Any new member who fails to comply with these EMT certification requirements will be subject to discipline, including, but not limited to, termination. Those members of the bargaining unit hired prior to July 1, 2014 who have their EMT certification and choose not to maintain their certification at the highest level that they have attained while in the employ of the City will forfeit the EMT stipend effective immediately after the expiration of their certification. Effective July 1, 2020, all firefighters who possess and maintain a valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification will receive an increase of 4.0% to be applied according to Article 10, Section II. Said stipend will be increase to 4.5% on July 1, 2021 and to 5.0% on July 1, 2022. The above paragraph shall not apply for dispatchers, who will be paid an annual $250 stipend for attaining and maintaining their EMT certification, payable in the 1st pay period of December. Effective July 1, 2021, the City shall be responsible to provide all training necessary for re-certification at the EMT or Paramedic level of certification at no cost to the firefighter. Advanced notice will be given for scheduled training. Should a firefighter miss a class for any reason, other than approved Workers Compensation, extended sick leave with a doctor’s note, or bereavement leave, he/she must make it up on his/her own time. Effective July 1, 2021 the City shall reimburse all EMT’s/Paramedics all fees associated with re- certification upon presentation of receipts to the Chief of the Department.

  • Stipend Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation’s guidelines.

  • Stipends Bargaining unit members may qualify for stipends for advanced degrees which are "in-field." Employees who held out-of-field stipends on the date of contract ratification by the BTU for the 1994-95 school year shall be allowed to continue to receive said stipends until they leave the employment of the District.

  • Public Benefit It is Reaction Retail’s understanding that the commitments it has agreed to herein, and actions to be taken by Reaction Retail under this Settlement Agreement, would confer a significant benefit to the general public, as set forth in Code of Civil Procedure § 1021.5 and Cal. Admin. Code tit. 11, § 3201. As such, it is the intent of Reaction Retail that to the extent any other private party initiates an action alleging a violation of Proposition 65 with respect to Reaction Retail’s failure to provide a warning concerning exposure to DEHP prior to use of the Products it has manufactured, distributed, sold, or offered for sale in California, or will manufacture, distribute, sell, or offer for sale in California, such private party action would not confer a significant benefit on the general public as to those Products addressed in this Settlement Agreement, provided that Reaction Retail is in material compliance with this Settlement Agreement.

  • Public Benefits ‌ 5.1 Developer to provide Public Benefits‌ The Developer must, at its cost and risk, provide the Public Benefits to the City in accordance with this document.
