Environmental Protection PlanPrior to beginning Services under this Agreement, the Concessionaire will provide a draft Environmental Protection Plan to be evaluated by a Department biologist. The Concessionaire will implement a final Environmental Protection Plan incorporating the Department biologist’s, the District’s, and the Park Manager's comments prior to beginning Services under this Agreement. The Environmental Protection Plan will cover all operations in the Park, including, but not limited to: A. Use of recyclable or biodegradable materials where possible, with preference given to use of non-disposable materials; B. Natural resource impact minimization; C. Solid waste reduction and recycling, including the provision of recycle bins for plastics, paper, aluminum, and glass for use by park visitors; D. Waste management, including the provision of garbage bins for use by park visitors and preventing wildlife from accessing waste; E. Use of cleaning and maintenance supplies/compounds, insecticides, rodenticides, and herbicides; and, F. Any other information that would allow a reviewer to evaluate and understand the total Environmental Protection Plan.
Environmental Protection PlanContractor shall provide an Environmental Protection Plan that addresses all Federal, State, and local regulations and requirements. Contractor plan shall specifically address ACM Abatement and Regulated Materials Removal, Environmental Compliance, Natural Resources and Wildlife Management, Cultural and Historic Resources Management, Clean Water Act, to include Storm Water Pollution Prevention and/or Erosion and Sediment Control, Spill Pollution Prevention and Reporting, Solid Waste Management, and Hazardous Materials Handling, Packaging, Disposal, and Transportation. 6.4.2.5.1 ACM Abatement and Regulated Materials Removal. Contractor shall describe its plan for identifying and removing asbestos-containing and/or other regulated materials within facility(ies) prior to demolition. Contractor shall describe: 6.4.2.5.1.1 Site-specific asbestos or ORM removal processes; 6.4.2.5.1.2 Safety processes that Contractor will implement to protect its workers and the public during the asbestos and/or ORM removal processes; 6.4.2.5.1.3 Air monitoring requirements and Contractor implementation plan;
Environmental Protection Plan. For each task order where required, meet with the Contracting Officer or designated representative to discuss the proposed environmental protection plan and to develop mutual understanding relative to the details of environmental protection, including measures for protecting natural resources, required reports, and other measures to be taken.
Environmental Protection Plan. 1 The Contractor is required to submit a plan showing all pollution control measures that will be used to fulfill the requirements of the Environmental Protection Section. This plan will be reviewed by the Departmental Representative and the Environmental Protection Officer prior to commencement of any work. Any deviation from this plan will require further approval by the Departmental Representative. The protection plan shall be submitted prior to the pre-construction meeting.
Environmental Protection Plan. The purpose of the Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) is to ensure that a high level of importance is placed on the protection of the environment throughout the lifecycle of the Project. The EPP provides Operational Environmental Standards (OESs) to identify and address Project environmental issues and concerns and to provide guidance and control measures (which may be field fit as required), to reduce/limit potential adverse effects to the environment and/or minimize or mitigate these impacts to the extent necessary to prevent undue harm. The EPP is developed in recognition of applicable permits, authorizations, and approvals, and provides operational measures that comply with these approvals. Where possible, IQ is also integrated into the EPP. The specific purposes of the EPP are as follows: • Provide a reference document to ensure that commitments to minimize adverse environmental effects will be met. • Document and identify environmental concerns and ensure appropriate protection measures are implemented. • Provide concise guidance to Project Personnel regarding the implementation of appropriate standards for protecting the environment and minimizing adverse environmental effects.
Environmental Protection Plan. D25.1 The Contractor shall plan and implement the Work of this Contract strictly in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Plan as herein specified. D25.2 The Contractor is advised that at least the following Acts, Regulations, and By-laws apply to the Work: (a) Federal (i) Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA), 1992 c.37; (ii) Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) c.16; (iii) Fisheries Act, 1985 c.F-14; (iv) Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations, c.34; (v) Transportation Association of Canada’s Transportation Association of Canada National Guide to Erosion and Sediment Control on Roadway Projects, 2005; (vi) Navigable Waters Protection Act; and (vii) Any other applicable Acts, Regulations, and By-laws.

Environmental Protection Plan. A. Contents of Environmental Protection Plan 1. Include any hazardous materials (HM) planned for use on the job. Submit a list (including quantities) of HM to be brought to the site and copies of the corresponding material safety data sheets (MSDS). Submit this list to the Department. At project completion, remove any hazardous material brought onto the site. Account for the quantity of HM brought to the site, the quantity used or expended during the job, and the left over quantity which (1) may have additional useful life as a HM and shall be removed by the Contractor, or (2) may be a hazardous waste, which shall then be removed as specified herein. 2. The Environmental Protection Plan shall list and quantify any Hazardous Waste (HW) to be generated during the project. 3. Store HW near the point of generation up to a total quantity of 55 gallons of hazardous waste. Move any volume exceeding these quantities to a HW permitted area within 3 days. Properly label all hazardous waste to be stored in accordance with applicable regulations. 4. Contact Department for conditions in the area of the project which may be subject to special environmental procedures. Include this information in the Pre-construction Survey. Describe in the Environmental Protection Plan any permits required prior to working the area, and· contingency plans in case an unexpected environmental condition is discovered. 5. Obtain permits for handling HW, and deliver completed documents to Engineer for review. File the documents with the appropriate agency, and complete disposal with the approval of Department. Deliver correspondence with the State concerning the environmental permits and completed permits to Department. B. Environmental Protection Plan Format 1. Environmental Protection PlanSUPPLIER shall comply with the provisions of Exhibit D attached hereto of the Dominion Agreement.
