EVALUATION OF MEMBERS. ‌ 19.1 Members are evaluated for the purposes of reappointment, tenure, promotion, continuing status, salary adjustment, or removal of probationary status for Librarians. 19.2 Criteria for the evaluation of Members are further elaborated in the Faculty or Libraries Evaluation Policy created pursuant to this section, the departmental standard for attaining tenure, and any other departmental policies further developing the criteria as relevant to the practice of any particular discipline. 19.3 Any departmental policies pertaining to evaluation of Faculty Members must be consistent with the Agreement and the Faculty Evaluation Policy, ratified by a majority of votes cast by those holding regular academic appointments in the unit, and approved by the Xxxx. Such departmental policies must be available to Members within the Department. 19.4 Every Evaluation Policy must be reviewed by the Faculty, Departments, and the Libraries (as applicable) by December 31 of the year in which a new Agreement comes into effect. Any amendments consequent upon that review must be developed in consultation between the Xxxx (or the University Librarian) and the unit. Faculty Evaluation Policies must be approved by the members of the Faculty and the Vice-President Academic and Xxxxxxx; departmental policies must be approved as provided in section 19.3.
EVALUATION OF MEMBERS. 1. The Vice President of Academic Affairs is responsible for the evaluation of all Members and making recommendations to the President on matters of retention. The College shall use a separate evaluation for coaches who will be evaluated for coaching responsibilities by the Athletic Director. 2. The College shall develop an evaluation process and evaluation documents with mutual agreement from the Association. Nothing herein shall limit the College from evaluating an employee’s total performance as a faculty member or coach. 3. An employee’s evaluation shall be in writing. After completing the evaluation, the Vice President of Academic Affairs shall place a summary and/or the entire evaluation in the employee’s file, as provided for in the evaluation process. Both the Vice President of Academic Affairs and the employee shall sign the summary and/or evaluation before it is placed in the employee’s file. 4. If an employee believes the evaluation is incomplete or inaccurate, the employee may submit any objections in writing which shall be attached to the file copy, provided such written objections are received by Xxxx of Administrative Services and HR within fifteen (15) business days after the employee has reviewed the evaluation with the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
EVALUATION OF MEMBERS. All Members will be evaluated annually. Members are evaluated during their probation period on the third (3rd), sixth (6th), ninth (9th), and twelfth (12th) month and annually thereafter. The evaluation will be in writing and will be prepared by the Member’s immediate supervisor. The evaluation shall be presented and discussed with the Member. The content of performance evaluations of the Member is not subject to appeal. A Member with unsatisfactory performance evaluation may be placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) for up to one (1) year in duration, as determined by the Department Director, which is not subject to appeal. All performance evaluations must be completed before a PIP can be issued.

Any Departmental policies creating greater specificity for these criteria must be consistent with the Framework Agreement and the Faculty Evaluation Policy and be approved by the Xxxx.
EVALUATION OF MEMBERS. ‌ A. The Vice-President or his/her designee is responsible for evaluating all Members and making recommendations to the President on matters of retention, tenure (See Section 12.200), and salary adjustments. B. The College and Association agree to implement an evaluation process for pre- and post-tenured faculty that is developed jointly and mutually agreed upon. The evaluation process will be developed by the Vice-President and the Faculty Personnel Committee. C. Faculty Personnel Committee The Faculty Personnel Committee is a standing committee of the College. Its function and purpose is to assist with improvement of instruction. A variety of teaching styles and techniques shall be recognized and encouraged. Upgrading of the Member should be accomplished by a continuing program of in-service education and development of individual programs of improvement. D. Composition of the Faculty Personnel Committee 1. The Committee will be made up of at least five (5) members elected by the Association at large. 2. Terms of office will be three (3) years and terms will be staggered. 3. If a vacancy occurs it will be filled by election, and the new member will serve the remainder of the former member's term. 4. The Association President may appoint temporary members if needed.

  • Admission of Members Other persons may be admitted as Members from time to time pursuant to the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Termination of Membership You may terminate your membership by giving us written notice or by withdrawing your minimum required membership share(s), if any, and closing all your accounts. You may be denied services for causing a loss to the Credit Union, or you may be expelled for any reason as allowed by applicable law.

  • Selection of Mediator A single mediator that is acceptable to both parties shall be used to mediate the dispute. The mediator will be knowledgeable in the subject matter of this Contract, if possible.

  • Rights of Members (a) Each Member irrevocably waives any right that it may have to maintain an action for partition with respect to the property of the Company. (b) Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, (i) each Member shall look solely to the assets of the Company for the return of its Capital Contributions, and (ii) no Member shall have priority over any other Member as to the return of its Capital Contributions, distributions or allocations.

  • Admission of Member The Member is deemed admitted as the Member of the Company upon its execution and delivery of this Agreement.

  • Substitution of Members If unanimous written approval is received, the transferee shall:

  • Termination of Mediation The mediation shall be terminated: 1) By the execution of a Settlement Agreement by the Parties; 2) By a written declaration of the mediator to the effect that further efforts at mediation are no longer worthwhile; or 3) By a written declaration of a Party or Parties to the effect that the mediation proceedings are terminated.

  • Evaluation of Students Acknowledging the District’s adopted grading system, the teacher shall maintain the right and responsibility to determine grades and other evaluation of a student. No grade or evaluation shall be changed except by the teacher with the approval of the building administrator.

  • Duties of Members Each Member must have a duty as set forth in Exhibit 1 to this agreement. The Members agree that the failure to satisfy a Member’s duties may result in the expulsion or removal of that Member. (a) If a Member fails at their duties for a period of one hundred twenty (120) consecutive days, the Member will lose their membership interest. The start date of the failure must be documented. (b) If a Member fails to do their duties for one hundred twenty (120) days out of any two hundred thirty nine (239) day period, the Company will consider such a failure and whether the Member will be expelled and lose their membership interest in accordance with this Article and Section 00-00-000 of the Act. The dates of failure in question must be documented. (c) If a Member disputes the completion of another Member’s duties and attempts to take over that Member’s interest, they must do so in writing by certified delivery to the Member’s residential address as listed in Exhibit 1. If certified delivery is not available, hand delivery by a third party is acceptable. (d) If a Member receives a complaint as described above, the Member must fulfill their established duties within fourteen (14) days. (e) If there is a dispute as to what any Member’s duties are or if those duties are being fulfilled, and the Members have gone through the dispute process outlined in the above subsections (a) through (d) of this Section 4.06, the Members agree to enter into binding mediation or arbitration to decide if the Member’s duties are being performed in compliance with the agreed duties as outlined in Exhibit 1 of this Agreement. If the Members fail to reach an agreement through arbitration or mediation, the Members in dispute agree to file a complaint in the appropriate Court to procure a decision as to the fulfillment of Members’ duties. Upon a decision by the Court that a Member has failed to meet its duties, the Member will assign and forfeit their membership interest to the other remaining Member(s). The assignment of the non-compliant Member’s membership interest will result in a debt owed to the non-compliant Member by the Company. The debt owed to the expelled Member shall be the aggregate sum of any capital contributions submitted to the Company by the expelled Member. (f) The value of the non-compliant Member’s interest being transferred to the remaining Member(s) must be determined before the transfer can be completed. During the course of the transfer, the non-compliant Member will maintain complete powers of membership in the Company. (g) In the event of a dispute of Member’s duties, Members may negotiate an exchange of membership interests for a lesser amount of Member duties, provided that modification is memorialized and attached to Exhibit 1.
