The Evaluator Qualifications clause defines the minimum standards or credentials required for individuals or entities who are designated to assess or review certain aspects of a contract, project, or process. EVALUATOR QUALIFICATIONS. 1. All assigned evaluators shall have been trained in the adopted evaluation processes. The District will maintain documentation with evidence of the successful completion of this training by each individual serving as an evaluator before any such individuals may participate in the evaluation process of bargaining unit members.
2. No teacher shall be evaluated by an evaluator who has not been trained in observation, evaluation, and the use of the specific instructional framework and rubrics contained in this agreement and any relevant state or federal requirements.

All assigned evaluators shall receive training in the evaluation processes they have been assigned to conduct that are contained in Article IV of this Agreement and related appendices. Upon request, the District shall provide the Association, within ten (10) days, the dates and a summary of the content of the most recent training that each evaluator has completed. No teacher shall be evaluated by an evaluator who has not received training in observation, evaluation, the appropriate forms for each process, and the instructional framework and rubrics contained in this Agreement and any relevant state requirements.
EVALUATOR QUALIFICATIONS. All assigned evaluators shall have received training in the evaluation process they will be assigned to conduct that are contained in Article IV of the Agreement and related appendices. Upon request, employees may be assigned an alternative evaluator. Requests must be submitted in writing by October 1st. An employee working in more than one building shall be evaluated by only one building principal each year to be chosen by the principals at the beginning of the school year.
EVALUATOR QUALIFICATIONS. Any Individual who participates in the observation and evaluation of a bargaining unit member’s teaching performance must be pre-qualified and trained in accordance with the pre-qualification and training provisions of the Performance Evaluation Reform Act (PERA).

The Superintendent of Schools has charged the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Schools credentialed and certified administrators with the responsibility of evaluating the staff each year. It is agreed and understood that the administrator assigned to do evaluations shall be within their building of assignment, except in emergency situations, and then, there shall be a meeting between affected teachers and administrators to mutually agree on another evaluator.
2. No member of the bargaining unit is to evaluate another member, except as may be otherwise provided in the WETA Agreement for peer review. All OTES evaluations are to use the processes and forms set forth in this Article, and shall be conducted openly, with the full knowledge of the member. All evaluation instruments and reports shall be communicated to members; however, the judgments of the evaluators are not subject to the grievance procedures; failure to abide by deadlines and procedures set forth herein is grievable. All reports shall be discussed with the teacher as provided herein, and a union representative may be present upon the teacher’s request; however, such a request shall not negate or delay any deadline set forth herein.
3. In addition to district-employed OTES-credentialed administrators, teachers who work for the district through a county or other public agency contracted by the district to operate a district program may be evaluated by that agency’s OTES-credentialed administrators or supervisors.
4. Each teacher evaluation conducted under this policy shall be conducted by a person: 1) who is eligible to be an evaluator in accordance with ORC 3319.111(D); and 2) who holds a credential established by ODE for being an evaluator. Every evaluator must complete state-sponsored evaluation training and is required to pass an online credentialing assessment.

The national accrediting entity must have minimum assessor/evaluator qualifications that align with the following Texas Rising Star requirements for assessors in TWC Chapter 809 Child Care Services rule §809.134(ac).
