Facilities provided by the Contractor. The Contractor provides all required construction facilities for the duration of the Works. Facilities provided by the Contractor are to be removed at the end of the works.
Facilities provided by the Contractor. The Contractor makes provision for accommodation, vehicles, kitchen space, office space (mobile container) and Equipment etc. The Contractor removes all Equipment used during the installation and commissioning within 24 hours after commissioning. No spoil areas are provided on site and the Contractor makes arrangements for the disposal of waste. The Contractor makes arrangements for his own telephone and internet facilities.
Facilities provided by the Contractor. Describe what the Contractor is to provide in the way of Site accommodation, laboratories, storage, vehicles and office equipment etc for the Project Manager and the Supervisor, and any restrictions or minimum requirements concerning the Contractor’s own facilities. State requirements for facilities to be provided by the Contractor such as construction camps. Also state what happens to these facilities upon completion of the contract. Set out constraints, if any, as to the location by the Contractor of such facilities on the Site and requirements for drawings of Site facilities, as necessary.
Facilities provided by the Contractor. The Contractor must supply their own containers and storage facilities. The location of the camp site shall be liaised with the Principal Agent at the site hand over. No employees except for security guards will be allowed to sleep/ or be accommodated on the site respectively. The Contractor shall provide the necessary ablution facilities at his camp site and the site of the works for the use of his employees. These ablutions can be tied into the existing sewer system. All other services necessary to execute the contract shall be arranged and paid for by the Contractor. These may include the following:- Telecommunication services: landline and fax facilities to be arranged with Telkom. Medical and first-aid facilities: the Contractor has to supply and regularly re-supply a First Aid kit on site to be available at the site offices. Fire protection services: the Contractor shall as part of his OHSA obligations have a list of emergency contact numbers clearly displayed in the site office. Contract instructions book in triplicate Refuse removal: the Contractor shall make the necessary arrangements for regular removal of refuse. Cost associated with this will be for the contractor’s account. The site must at all times be tidy and free of refuse.
Facilities provided by the Contractor. The Contractor shall provide, for his own use adequate size offices. A cleaning service must also be provided. Domestic rubbish will be removed free of charge. The Contractor shall dismantle and clear off site all such infrastructure at the discretion of the Service Manager on completion of the contract. No such dismantling and clearance work shall be carried out without prior approval by the Project Manager. Any electrical equipment or appliances used by the Contractor shall conform to the applicable South African Safety standards and Xxxxx standard PSR 010, and shall be maintained in safe and proper working condition. The Employer shall have the right to stop the Contractor’s use of any electrical equipment or appliance, which in the Employer’s opinion does not conform to the foregoing.
Facilities provided by the Contractor. The Contractor should provide facilities they deem necessary in executing the work. The Contractor provides at his own expense any temporary local lighting, and ensures that it is in accordance with the requirements of the Factories Inspector. The Contractor provides, at his own expense; temporary distribution box to distribute electric supply from the Eskom supply at the air heater, all temporary wiring and cabling to lead power from the point of supply to the various points where it is required, maintain same and remove on completion.
Facilities provided by the Contractor. All the water necessary for construction and drinking purposes must be provided for by the Contractor. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to test any water before being used. The Contractor is to submit a Test Certificate for the water brought and used on site. The Contractor is to provide his own toilet facilities on site and ensure that these facilities are kept in a clean condition to Eskom’s satisfaction. No work on site will be allowed to commence before the toilet facilities are available on site. The Contractor shall provide everything else necessary for providing the Works.
Facilities provided by the Contractor. 5.2.1 Contractor‘s yard, offices, workshops and stores If it is required for the Contractor to have a site office for proper co-ordination and execution of the Works, the Contractor shall include in his establishment, rates for all further treatment of the yard areas that he considers necessary for his entire operation throughout his period of occupation. The Contractor also includes for all security fencing, security and access arrangements. Maintenance of the yard is the Contractor’s responsibility and to the Project Managers acceptance. Outfall drainage of all surface run-off drains is constructed by the Contractor to the acceptance of the Project Manager to minimise erosion and to effect control of contaminated water. The Contractor’s plan for the layout of his yard area are accepted by the Project Manager prior to occupying the yard and the Contractor does not occupy any site area other than that allocated to him. The Contractor’s plan states fully what measures are taken regarding removal and storage of topsoil, stabilisation of eroded areas and further loss of topsoil. The Contractor complies with the environmental policy given in the Site regulations. The Contractor provides, erects and maintains for his own use adequate size office accommodation and stores together with such drainage, lighting, heating, and hot and cold water services as may be required. Provision is also made for adequate parking and a turning area adjacent to all the aforesaid structures. The Supervisor prior to commencement of any work on Site accepts all designs and layouts for these provisions. The Contractor dismantles and clears the yard of all such temporary structures and associated foundations and infrastructure at the direction of the Supervisor on Completion of the whole of the works. No such dismantling and clearance work is carried out without prior acceptance from the Supervisor.
Facilities provided by the Contractor. The requirements for facilities to be provided by the Contractor for use by the Employer and his agents such as office, ablution and laboratory facilities are stated in Part C3.6, Section A1.4.7.1. The Contractor shall make his own arrangements for the supply of electrical power, water (see Clause A1.3.3), telecommunication services, ablution facilities, sewer services, first aid facilities and other services, the payment thereof and all reinstatements required upon completion. No direct payment will be made to the Contractor for the provision of electrical and other services. The cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the rates and amounts tendered for the various items of work for which these services are required. The Contractor will be required to erect a security fence around the construction camp and temporary parking area for plant and equipment. The cost thereof is regarded to be included in the relevant rates for establishment on site. The storage of fuels in tanks may be kept in the Contractor's camp subject to the regulations of the Airport authorities that require a berm or wall around the installation sufficient to retain the capacity fuel of the tanks. The Contractor shall make his own arrangements for telephone and facsimile facilities. Cellular phones will be acceptable, but the Contractor must obtain airside permits from ACSA at his own cost.
