GENERAL HOLIDAYS AND HOLIDAY PAY. 12.01 Employees will be entitled to receive an amount equal to four (4%) percent of their hourly wage rate for all hours worked as holiday pay in lieu of the following general holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, or any further days proclaimed by the Federal or Provincial Government. When performing work that is considered Non-Construction, Holiday Pay will be processed as per Employment Standards.

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY 5.3.1 All hours worked by an employee in excess of eight (8) hours per shift and in excess of forty (40) straight time hours per week shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the straight time rate. All hours worked by an employee in excess of ten (10) hours per shift and all hours worked on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double the straight time rate.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

  • Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.
