Initiation of Group Grievances. 1. Where employees have a common grievance, the Association may initiate a group grievance in their behalf. 2. In such cases a written grievance shall be filed with the Superintendent. 3. Information copies of the grievance shall be sent simultaneously to the administrators of the employees involved. 4. The procedure for the group grievance shall then follow the steps as described above at Level Two and Level Three, if necessary.

Initiation of Group Grievances a. Where members of the negotiating unit in one or more schools have a grievance, the chairman of the grievance committee, in the name of the Union at their request, may initiate a group grievance on their behalf. In such a case, a written grievance shall be filed originally with the superintendent, and information copies of the grievance shall be sent by the chairman simultaneously to the principal or principals of the employees involved. b. The Union shall have the right to initiate a grievance growing out of an alleged violation of Union rights under this contract. Any such grievance shall be initiated by filing the written grievance in the first instance with the superintendent. Appeals to the superintendent or grievance filed originally with him under this article shall be heard by the superintendent within twenty (20) days of the receipt by him of the appeal or grievance. Written notice of time and place of hearing shall be given five (5) days prior thereto to the chairman of the grievance committee and any administrator involved in the grievance. The superintendent shall render his decision, in writing, within ten (10) days after concluding the hearing.

Initiation of Group Grievances. 1. Where more than one employee has a common grievance, the Association may initiate a group grievance on their behalf. In such a case, a written grievance may be filed directly with the Human Resources Director at step 1 with no requirement for any employee to contact their supervisor. Group grievances will start with the Association being required to submit the Grievance Form to the Human Resources Director within fifteen (15) days after the facts upon which the grievance is based, or first become known to the Association. The same steps and time intervals shall apply for all subsequent group grievance processing steps as with individual grievances. 2. The Association shall have the right to initiate a grievance growing out of an alleged violation of Association rights under this contract. Any such grievance shall be initiated by filing the written grievance in the first instance with the President. All such grievances must be filed within fifteen (15) days after the facts upon which the grievance is based The remainder of the procedure shall be as provided for the individual grievances.
Initiation of Group Grievances. A. If a grievance affects a group or class of Employees who are in one particular school building, then the group, with Association representation or through an Association representative, shall proceed with the grievance as per Level One (1.a) of the procedure. B. If a grievance affects Employees who are in different school buildings, the group or class of Employees, with the Association grievance representative, shall proceed with the grievance by submitting it to the District Superintendent as per Level Two of the procedure.
Initiation of Group Grievances. If, in the judgment of the Association, a grievance affects a group or class of teachers, the Association may submit such grievance in writing to the Superintendent directly and the processing of such grievance will be commenced at Level Two. The Association shall designate the individuals for whom the grievance is being processed at the time of filing.
