Inspection of Personnel File. All materials placed in the teacher's file and originating with the school system shall be available to the teacher at his/her request for inspection, except as provided in Section 2.08.04, in the presence of the person(s) responsible for keeping the files.

Inspection of Personnel File. Every employee shall have the right to inspect evaluation reports and supporting documents contained in his/her personnel file upon request, provided that the review is made at a time when such person is not actually required to render services to the District, except that when the information to be reviewed is derogatory, the review may, at the option of the employee, take place during normal business hours of the Personnel Office and at such time as is mutually agreeable to the employee, and the District. Typically, the District shall make an appointment to review a personnel file within one working day of receiving a request. Only the evaluation procedure and not the contents of the evaluation shall be subject to the Grievance Procedure contained in this Agreement.

Inspection of Personnel File. Employees may inspect their personnel file and obtain copies of documents contained in the personnel file in accordance with California’s Labor Code and the procedures described in the Employer’s Employee Handbook. To review his/her personnel file, the employee must give reasonable, advance notice to his/her supervisor or the Administrator. An Employer representative may be present when the employee inspects his/her file. The employee may obtain copies of any signed documents and the employee may submit a rebuttal to any disputed item in the file.
