JOB POSTINGS AND BIDDING PROCEDURES. (a) All vacancies and/or newly-created positions within the bargaining unit shall be posted within seven (7) working days of the date the vacancy occurs, or the new position is created. All vacancies or newly-created positions within the bargaining unit shall be filled on the basis of seniority and qualifications, as determined by the Board of Education. All vacancies will be posted for a period of seven (7) working days, setting forth the minimum requirements for the position in a conspicuous place on employee bulletin boards in each building. Employees interested shall apply in writing to the Superintendent (or designee), setting forth their qualifications for the position within the seven (7) working days posting period.
